Food is great ...freshly cooked and varied. Lovely open fire... It's a real heart of the village pub! The pub is very child and dog friendly with a separate restaurant area if required.

Came here by chance on the first night, returned the next 2 nights of our 3 night break to eat, drink and enjoy the atmosphere. Enough said.

Been to the St Agnes Hotel so many times recently that I felt compelled to write a review - think I have a slight addiction to their roast lunch. Bill, the owner, has always made us incredibly welcome from the first time we met him.
They keep the beer really well and the food can be classed as great pub grub. It's not pretentious but it is really very good, wholesome and tasty. Can't wait to go back.

Been coming for years - and it's always a toss up between the Driftwood Spars and the St Agnes Hotel as to which does best food. In 2013 in my view it was the St Agnes Hotel.

7 of us came in for a meal just after Christmas - the Sunday night and the pub area was packed with people eating so we eat in the Restaurant. We ordered and waited a little longer than normal due to lots of people wanting food - we were just pleased that they had 7 seats and could get us in. 7 different choices, my daughters steak was superb - she eat everything. My chilli nachos was one of the best I'd had in many a year - fresh, warm and with chillis on the top. I had the small bowl and it was plenty.

Fish and chips, ribs all well cooked an eaten - washed down with a few pints of St. Austell ales. We do eat here regularly and will continue to do so.

It is a local pub but don't worry the local don't bite! in fact they will talk to you if you talk to them!
