Massively overpriced and minute portions, my son and his wife are locals ( Truro) and were most embarrased at the poor standard and quantity of the food.
It left us with the view that its a 'Rip Off the Tourist' business for people with more money than sense.

The pub however is excellent, I would visit again for a drink but not to eat, there are far better establishments in St Agnes.

Another great dog friendly pub in St Agnes. Lovely views of bay and a good pint of cider. Staff were helpful and friendly and although we didnt eat here the food looked good.

Love this pub to have a drink in, but i would stay clear if youre thinking food..
Five of us went on a friday evening and from ordering to getting our mains was 1 hour 45 minutes.. Even when the mains did come there was a 10 minute gap between the first three and second two..
Wait staff were very apologetic saying "something had gone wrong" though we never found out what. We were also given a big discount.
Food when it arrived was reasonable, though i was so hungry i would have eaten a chair leg...

Thank you for your comments.

We have recently experienced a few issues with a wait on food, we have since reviewed our menu to make it easier to deliver when we have 'surges' of people turn up. We have also trained our staff to be able to deal with these situations. Sometimes we do have an unavoidable wait on food and we endeavour to let customers know and offer them bread and olives while they wait.

Thank you for your feedback.

Regards

Louise

Some of the food is served 20 minutes before the rest of the same course !! The food arrived almost 2 hours after our order was taken. The waitresses were not interested and just said that the kitchen was to blame. They were obviously used to receiving complaints and thought that response would be enough !! The chips were probably the worst chips I have ever tasted.
Anybody who thinks this place is OK has very low standards in my opinion.

Thank you for your feedback.

I am truly sorry that you had a bad experience while dining with us, your experience is not what we endeavour to deliver. Our kitchen has to deal with food orders coming in from the dining room, 3 bars and the beer garden all at once and this puts a lot of pressure and can lead to delays.

We have since redesigned our menu to make it quicker to deliver, trained our waiting staff and possibly now we will look into our chips and sourcing a better quality one.

Kindest regards

Louise
