We stayed here for 4 nights 4 adults and 2 kids(4/12) the farmhouse is in a lovely setting surrounded by fields . There is a lovely garden with a trampoline , climbing frame and football goals . The house itself is well equipped with everything you need and more. The owners Jim and Caroline made us feel very welcome. It's ideally situated for perranporth , Newquay, st Ives etc and I would highly recommend this property for a peaceful break.
We will definitely be back!! Had a fantastic holiday in a great location!! The barn was great and the children loved playing in the gardens. Would highly recommend!!
Spoiled by outstanding weather, Sunbury Barn proved an excellent base to explore western Cornwall from. On a very quiet farm, set well back from the nearest roads, but withing walking distance of Perranporth and a good pub. Well equipped and plenty of outdoor space.
An excellent well equipped property in a stunning location. Convenient for local beaches and amenities. Close to local pub (Miners Arms) serving great ales and food. 20mins from Truro city centre with all major high street outlets. Although we stayed at the end of October, the barn would be a marvellous family summer venue. Would have no hesitation in booking again.
We loved staying at Sunbury Barn and had a fabulous time. The accommodation was everything we needed and more. The children loved the garden and the freedom to run around. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this holiday home as one of the best we have stayed in.
We stayed at Sunbury Barn in August; we were very lucky with the weather! We had a wonderful week. The barn was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and the garden space, play area was great for the kids. It was quiet and a little sun trap actually. There are some truly beautiful beaches in and around this area and St Agnes was a lovely little local village (great carnival on the Saturday night). The buses are available and one the day we used them very reliable. My only comment, and it's not a biggie are the road options in and out - it was a choice between a very steep hill and with a full car it was rather stressful. The second a track that had a high centre section in parts. Not a problem, but good to know (especially if you have a low car). Would definitely recommend. Thanks Jim, Carolyn and Marianne for a lovely week.
This is a small and comfortable barn conversion in a good location. It has a big garden with goal posts, a volleyball/badminton net and a trampoline. The kids has a great time with lots of activity. The owner and family are very helpful and friendly and we even had some joint football matches. It is a few minutes drive from Perranporth where you can do all the traditional seaside things. It is also close to the A30 so you can get quickly to everywhere else in Cornwall. We had a great week. The only down-side was the wifi which was unreliable and erratic. if you need the internet have another way of doing it!
