“Lovely stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

We went to st agnes to visit some freinds last minute and managed to get into atlantic mews. Tony and Carol were really lovely, it was like staying with an aunty and uncle! We have never stayed in a B&B before only hotels so felt a little strange at first but we soon settled in. The rooms were a little old fashioned and cramped with our luggage (we were on a bit of a road trip) but were very clean which was the most important. The B&B is in a great location just up a country lane from the centre of st agnes. It is a five minute stroll to the pubs and restaurants, which were recommended by carol. The best thing about our stay I would definatley say was the breakfast! It was great, just what we needed after lots of wine the night before and to get us ready for all the hill walking!

Another lovely stay with Carol and Tony, just a pity about the mixed weather. As usual the welcome was very warm, our accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfasts as sumptuous as ever. Thank you Carol for drying out our wet clothes following our walk, a gesture which was much appreciated. We will be back.

Stayed 6 nights during our first weeks holiday in Cornwall in the home of two wonderful people and one of the most relaxing b&b we have had for ages. The room was home away from home, so clean and comfortable and always available to come back to. Our breakfasts were amazing! Carol was so good at giving us anything we could imagine, it was never boring and always of the highest quality with fresh local produce. The only complaint I've had from my stomach is since I got back asking "what has happened to all the wonderful food I had last week?" Carol and Tony were so accomodating helping us get the best from our holiday by giving us local information about events, locations and restaurants (Tap House). We felt we had always lived there. The house is closer to the village and amenities than might be imagined. We will stay there again if we visit that part of Cornwall again. Thank

Carol and Tony made us very welcome, both very friendly and obliging people. Breakfast was excellent - no small portions here! They gave good advice and some useful tips for travelling around Cornwall. Location is ideal for a 3 minute walk to local pubs/restaurants (the Tap House in particular). Would recommend to stay here at any time of the year as the house would be very warm in winter. Well worth a visit. We would certainly visit them again.

Carol & Tony's house is spotless, its like staying at a relative's very clean, very comfortable home, you can just relax from whatever you have been doing in the daytime. It also has mobile phone coverage which is a big bonus as St Agnes is a bit of a black hole for phone reception. For the quality of the accomodation and the breakfast the price is very reasonable indeed

I had a very comfortable stay with Carol and Tony upstairs in their house. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and the highlight for me was the lavish breakfast cooked beautifully with fresh local produce.
