Situated in the town slightly away from the tourists area's the Peterville Inn is a local pub which we choose because it was easy to park in their good car park, a necessitary in this are. We were pleased with the quality of the meals and the prices, 4 meals came to £32. drinks were pub prices. The dining area is throught the bar, I guess it was the landlord who asked if he could help; instead of ignoreing us as he was playing pool. Rest of the staff were also fine. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.
Its nice to find somewhere that is down to earth.

Very friendly staff. Had an interesting conversation about making pies with the chef and was then presented with the best one ever. Individual steak and kidney with perfectly cooked pastry and excellent filling. Pies are often very very poor, but try one here and you won't be disappointed.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early April and were made to feel extremely welcome. Rooms basic but very clean and comfortable. Right outside the bus terminal too which was very handy.

Have just come back from having a lovely Roast lunch at The Peterville Inn and Mum and I are both totally stuffed!!!!

We both had the a Roast Turkey which lovely and moist with plenty of it, never a bad thing in my book.

The roast potatoes were amazing, light and fluffy inside with a crisp outer shell, and a Yorkshire pudding that was so big it took up half of the plate!!

A truly fantastic meal, with very friendly staff and even met the Chef who was a lovely man.

You can bank on us coming back time and time again.
