“Wonderful cottage - home away from home!”

We stayed at lovely St Minver cottage for a week in July and would highly recommended it. The owners have thought of everything you could need and the decor is lovely. The location is a great base for Polzeath beach, Bodmin steam railway and you can also get to the lost Gardens of Heligan and Tintagel beach/castle which are slightly further but still doable.
Hope to visit again next year!

“Really lovely home from home...”

St Minver Cottage is a really lovely home from home. Comfortable, with stylish decor (nicer than the pictures depict), and a stones throw from the beach. There's a wood burning stove when the weather's not up to much, and an AGA in the kitchen that gives a welcome burst of warmth after a day cooling off in the sea. Perfectly located for so many things with Polzeath and Rock beaches just up the road. Would definitely stay again...

“Great holiday cottage”
Reviewed May 9, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Excellent holiday cottage. Well equipped and in a great location for exploring Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, etc. Accommodation exceeded expectations: modern, well furnished, large rooms, with lots of home comforts. Sitting room and family bathroom are particularly well proportioned. Garage is a plus (just around the corner from the cottage and there is space to park up nearer to the cottage too for loading / unloading). Very reliable wifi and good phone reception in the cottage. Nice touch to have tea making facilities and a pint of milk waiting on arrival after a long drive! Big Tesco in Wadebridge (15 mins away) for shopping and local convenience stores closer by in Rock. Not much within walking distance other than village pub, post office and a caravan site, but not a problem if you don't mind a drive. Prompt, friendly and helpful correspondence with the owner. Would definitely book again and recommend to others.

“A littlehidden gem”
Reviewed July 29, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Situated in a small narrow walkway leading to the beautiful church entrance you will find this cottage. Parking is available.
Beautiful cottage garden situated to the front of the property. Very well kept internally, clean and very well equipped.
Homely feeling about the place.
Local pub two minutes walk and very good food.

“Delightful quite retreat near outstanding Cornish coast.”
Reviewed June 13, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This cottage is tucked away in a lovely quiet location but within a hundred yards of a traditional Cornish Inn. The cottage is delightful and provides everything you would need for four adults and possibly two children. Everything was spotlessly clean and cooking on the Aga proved easier than expected. There is only a Post Office in the village so it would be sensible to take basic provisions. We were a group of four and we would highly recommend this property; we would book again.

“Perfect place to "Chill-out"”

Lovely Cottage very well presented with every little detail included and in beautiful surroundings. Nearby property undergoing renovation spoilt the overall experience but will be fine once it is finished.

“Great cottage, close to beaches, well equipped and tastefully decorated”
Reviewed September 4, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

St. Minver Cottage has been the perfect location for our end of summer trip to Cornwall. St Minver itself is quiet and picturesque with a nice pub and post office. It is very close to Rock and Polzeath, Port Isaac etc. We also travelled to Watergate Bay, The Eden Project and Harlyn Bay pretty quickly and had a great time in the surf. My 8 year old and 6 year old have enjoyed playing the secluded garden (which possibly isn't great for toddlers) and we've enjoyed the peace! The cottage is extremely spacious very well equipped (I felt very "Mary Berry" cooking with the Aga) and beautifully decorated- Im sure we'll be back!
