Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Service exemplary. Food a real delight. Will definitely go back and definitely book up for the tasting menu next time. Still have some of Nathan's lovely cheese bread in my freezer which I'm making last as long as I can.

We recently visited the seafood bar & grill at st Endocs hotel. We booked over the web but when we arrived the table had not been secured. However, this posed no problem to the excellent maitre de who kindly directed us to the bar where we had champagne cocktails until a table was prepared. We found the food very good but best was the excellent service & atmosphere. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food price is slightly over good restaurant prices so expect to pay £150-£200 incl service for 3 couses with wine for 2 people.

Having seen Nathan Outlaw on various cookery shows we wanted to try his restaurant, after getting a bit jaded with Rick Steins. Wow, wow and wow again, OK just a half hour drive from Padstow and you arrive at the imposing St Enodoc Hotel where Outlaws is. On entering we were made very welcome by the waitress who engaged in conversation with a cheery smile onto the food which could be classed as small portions but they were in fact just right, beautiful bread, lovely starters of Belly Pork, my partner had Scallops, then mains of Ling and Chicken again both beautifully cooked and presented. Desserts were Local Cheeses for me whilst my partner hd the Chocolate fondue.
The whole experience was 10/10, service, food, location and ambience. I can't recommend this highly enough, can't wait to experience again. Yes it's pricey but no more pricey than you would expect from a top restaurant we paid £130 including wine and worth every penny. Well done to all who were working there on Sunday 7 April.

We dined here one evening recently with two of our children. As always, we were warmly greeted by the friendly and professional staff. The food was excellent - superbly fresh and skilfully cooked and presented. Our dishes included fish soup, (very) local Porthilly oysters, bream, and lemon sole.
In warmer weather the terrace adjacent to the restaurant comes into its own, affording wide views across the Camel Estuary. The menu is different at lunchtime, but the execution of ingredients no less accomplished. Note that this restaurant accepts children aged 10+ in the evenings. At lunchtime children of all ages are warmly welcome.
