I stopped in Redruth. I usually park in the lower car park, and wander over to the cafe at the bottom of the high street. I took a wrong turn, and ended up in the higher car park. I wandered onto the high street and found Zest. Was served immediately, and ordered coffee and a sandwich. Fantastic. The bread was hand cut I think, and the filling (coronation chicken) tasted handmade. With crisps and a tasty salad. One of the best I've had in recent times. The young lady serving was polite and efficient, and produced a really good black coffee (believe me, I'm really fussy, and this was very good indeed). Will definitely use again when I'm in the area (or possibly even when I'm not!)

Bright & clean cafe in Redruth's high street, 5 minutes' walk from a large car park. Good menu, reasonable prices and good portion sizes, very quickly served. We had a BLT; bacon, brie & cranberry melt, and a surf & turf burger, which were all delicious. Free wifi. (For some reason TripAdvisor won't update Zest's opening hours, which are 9am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday, not 8-4pm!)

I googled "nearest breakfast" while my partner was having his car fixed on our way home from cornwall and this came up. Great menu. We decided to sit in while they allowed my dogs in. I opted for garlic mushroom and cheese melt. The food did take a while but everything was cooked from fresh. It said crisps on the board but when it came they were fries and probably the nicest fries I've ever had! I took some for my partner to try and he loved them too. How are they made? Yum. Everything fresh and the toast was thick fresh and delicious. Thank you
