“Don't hesitate to try.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

Popped in on a dismal March day. Owner welcomed us as soon as we walked through the door even though she was busy. Doesn't take much but unfortunately not everywhere is so considerate. I had the freshly made fishcakes with the right quantity of fish and my husband had the pulled pork ciabatta, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Great coffee, generous portions and dog friendly.

“Just The Sort of Place We're All Looking For”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2014

A very cold, rainy lunchtime in January meant that, somewhat unsurprisingly, we were on our own when we rocked up at The Willow Bistro, just next to Perranporth beach. However, a warm and sunny welcome from the owners soon swept away any winter blues. Even though we were past the time when breakfasts should finish, they offered us both the breakfast menu and their normal lunchtime one (as well as various blackboard specials). Zena made a beeline for the pancakes, maple syrup and cured bacon and, when they arrived, said they were delicious. I had the BBQ pork ciabatta with salad, coleslaw and thick-cut chips which was a good choice; plenty of tender pork, a nice sauce and good chips. What more could you want for a simple lunch? Hot chocolate (me) and a peppermint tea (Zena) rounded things off nicely.

All in all, a very pleasant good-value lunch, in agreeable surroundings, with nice owners. Would definitely recommend. NOTE: they’re currently having a tough time with the floods (see their Facebook page; I think this is the second or third time that they've had the waves in!) so, if you're in the area, pop in and support them.

“Must Visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

We stopped here on our way home from our holiday let in St Ives. First of all the bistro is in an excellent location right by the main car park at the beach. It was tastefully decorated and we received a friendly welcoming. The place wasn't very busy but to be fair it was the end of the season & a Monday morning. We ordered 2 breakfasts and the lady (owner) was very accommodating in cooking what we required for our 3 y.o son. The breakfast was as good as you will eat and the time taken by the owners (who have re-located from Yorkshire only this Summer) to talk to us & interact with our son was very nice.

“Lovely food and great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

The food was spot on for what we wanted with ample lunchtime choice and more than comfortable to cater for a slight change request.
Courteous and considerate.
Coffee was great also.
Will definitely come again and would recommend to others to "give it a go"... Don't think you'd be disappointed.
