We stayed at the Manor last week in one of the newest lodges (502) as an offer from Club La Costa.
We really enjoyed the location the service we got and I would highly recommend this place for young families
Fowey is a lovely little town, just avoid the Chinese there as it was the worst sweet and sour chicken we have ever eaten.
We were meant to have the marketing talk but as they tried to arrange it with only five minutes notice I refused to go and when we re arranged it for the next day they never turned up so all in all we had a great week in a lovely place

Food in the restaurant was very good and good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Room Tip: Get the newer lodges, they are so well equipped and home from home

My sister and I stayed at the hotel for four nights from june 25th. We were welcomed in straight away. They gave us assistance with our luggage and were very helpful throughout our stay. A very grand entrance and reception. Our room was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. Yes there was some ceilings and walls needing attention but nothing that bad. The spa was really nice especially first thing in the mornings....no children till after 9am !:) Loved the grounds. We walked through the gardens and woods...delightful. We liked the added touches....rabbits, woodland walk, wooded play area(not that we used it!) and vegetable garden. Breakfast was always nice. No complaints and would return if in the area again. Thankyou to all the staff.

Room Tip: We had room 208 quite a few stairs so not for anyone who struggles with stairs. No noise everything else ok with that room.

The lodge we stayed in was in a nice position and lovely and quite. There was almost everything you could want and it was very clean. It was rather dated with woodchip wallpaper, artex ceilings and awful cheap curtains. However we had a great week. We visited Eden project, Heligan, & Padstow.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service was great.
We will return, but upgrade to a superior lodge!

We stayed in one of the lodges located within the hotel grounds. Lodges were good size and had two bedrooms. Most have a sea view and can park your car right outside the lodge. Lodges are a little dated but fine to stay in based on the location to nearby towns and seaside.

Facilities are great which have indoor pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub - although hot tub was out of order one night.

Food in the restaurant was really good and would recommend a meal there. Nice food, very good service.

Hotel even has a kids area (not that I have kids) and also some giant rabbits...and I mean giant. Nice walks rounds the back of the hotel and a kids outdoor playarea

Would go back!

Room Tip: Book a lodge, detached place for privacy

We stayed here after having been to Tregenna castle in St Ives and it made for a great couple of weeks. I would not even try to compare the two places as both made for a great holiday in Cornwall. We stayed in one of the lodges and it was well appointed, very quiet and a great view. Food was very nice and the service was great.
Farm shops are plentiful all around and there is a fantastic chinese takeawey next to the Tesco store on the way into St Austell.
I preferred St Ives to St Austell, however this is well located for visiting most places in Cornwall and there are some lovely walks through the countryside in all directions.
This also had some lovely grounds and I found this to be a very relaxing week and somewhere I would recommend and stay at again when we next visit Cornwall
