We love the Palm Garden House. We took my son with us this trip (he's in his 30s). He is already talking about booking our next visit. Pat & Roy are great hosts and go the extra mile to make there guest very welcome, Pat cooks the best full English breakfast....Roy plays a mean game of chess...There is nowhere better to stay in Cornwall. We take our dog (Scampy) with us also and he loves the freedom of running around the large garden. Its A1 its the best.

Thank you to Pat and Roy not forgetting Bebe. a lovely warm homely welcome from these two wonderful people. Home from home, cosy and inviting rooms, exceptionally clean, just love the little touches of sweeties and club biscuits in our room each day. Scrummy breakfast each morning and Pat and Roy always up for a chat. Beautiful garden, where we to include Dillon doggy loved to sit. Back in dreary Wiltshire now, miss you and thanks for everything. love Jacqui, Stephen and Dillon xxx
Oh and apologies for putting a thumb down on here for breakfast room, couldnt see it properly, hope you can change to a thumbs up xx

I arrived in Palm Garden House towing a yacht and was surprised to be told to park it conveniently on bowling green quality lawn. Roy and Pat continued to make life easy for me by taking me to the Hospital when I mentioned I needed treatment - and really could not do enough for me.
The hosts hit the right balance of allowing privacy and the friendly cuppa and chat in the kitchen. Breakfast was enough to fuel me all day, and the room I had was quiet and comfortable - with wifi.
I am trying to think of a negative point but it is difficult.. any problem and Roy or Pat will sort it. God bless'em

Thank you for your comments Jack, I trust you had a good trip to the Scilly Isles and are now fully recovered.

If you're visiting this wonderful part of the world, this is the place to stay. The hospitality, food, people and venue is excellent. I've stayed here many times and would go nowhere else.
Our whole family enjoyed our stay here... adults and children alike.

Have just returned from a stay at the Palm Garden House. I opted for this one based on the previous reviews. All I can say is that the reviews are all true.!!!!!!!. Great communication emails leading up to the stay which were welcome and useful.

Pat and Roy are fantastic hosts. Very friendly, approachable and welcoming. A cup of tea and slice of cake were provided on arrival - what a start.

The rooms were cosy, clean and comfortable. Lovely touches such as bottled water and chocolates in the room. Plenty of tea and coffee available in the rooms. The hearty breakfast was a great start to each day.

The garden was well kept and certainly somewhere to relax in the sun after a day sightseeing.

This guesthouse is a gem. It should be a well kept secret. However it would be unfair to Pat and Roy not to share it to fellow travellers.

Make this favoured stay if you are visiting the Eden project or the St Austell/Par area.

Many thanks Pat and Roy. Hope to visit you and stay again soon.

A last minute booking for 4 people and a dog. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the food plentiful and fresh. The hosts are what really makes this B&B as they could not have beem more welcoming and friendly, it was the first time any of us actually felt "at home" in a B&B, including the dog.

Just spent 3 wonderful days and nights here, the oweners Pat and Roy are great hosts, and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The food was first class, and Pat makes sure you dont go hungry. I hope we will can go back over and over again, 5 stars all round from us. We were also allowed to take our dog (Scampy) and he was made as welcome as we were. There was only downside was we could not stay longer this time...
