We stayed here the first week of July. Arrived at around 5pm and were able to take our keys straightaway. Three people were on check in, making it speedy. We were in a chalet and were pleasantly surprised to find parking right outside. The chalet was compact but we were only interested in a base as we planned to be out all day. The kids room and our room was fine and clean. Basic and compact but fine. The bathroom is small but all worked fine and was clean. The lounge was great with two sofas. The kitchen let it down as the cupboards smelt really badly of damp so we took out what we needed and washed it all leaving on the sides for the week. The fridge was a great size and was clean.
We ate out a lot but did eat at the Kynance, it was priced well and had lots of options, both of our meals were lovely. The kids avoided the entertainment but did make use of the arcade which had lots of little toys to win in the 2p slot machines. We didn't make use of the pools either. We had a great trip though and would thorougly recommend Kennack Sands if you have young kids. Kynance cove was brilliant but quite steep. We also had fish and chips from the Lizard which were lovely and we would highly recommend The Witchball pub which is also on the Lizard - food is delicious. Oh and don't forget an Ann's Pasty from her shop on the Lizard (look for the yellow house). If you are looking for 5 star perfect accommodation - this isn't for you. However if you have kids this is great - safe with lots of areas for them to run around.
The only downside - we thought about staying an extra night or two but the prices quoted were ridiculous in comparison to what we paid for the week. If it had of been reasonable we would definately have stayed - Parkdean you lost out!
