We stayed here back in October when they were running a Photographic course over 4 days. The course was worth every penny!!
The room was very comfortable, being recently refurbished, and appeared this to be an ongoing project for all of the bedrooms.
The staff were excellent, and we were given a warm welcome. The breakfast was great, with a good choice and set you up for the day. I must say, however, that the evening meals could have been better. The choice was good, but the resident chef was away, and standards were not as high as we were given to expect. The serving staff were also very good, but appeared quite often to be waiting for the meals to be completed in the kitchen.
Food appeared to be based on presentation, rather than substance, and my wife thought there were too many flavours being combined into the dishes. Also, at lunch one day when we ordered the soup of the day, no one knew what it was, and when it did come to our table, it was cold. We sent it back, and the head waiter could be heard telling off the chef in no uncertain manner, which gave us some satisfaction in knowing that someone was concerned as to standards.
Overall, a very good hotel, which is endeavouring to raise its standards, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel as a base for exploring the Lizard peninsular.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay, the second time that we have visited this year.
Everything about our stay was fantastic, from the minute we arrived until the minute we left.
We stayed in a premier sea view room with our small dog Tinkerbell, the room was spacious, well furnished with amazing views and immaculately clean.
The food in the restaurant was simply superb, completely faultless. All staff were very warm and friendly including the management and nothing was too much bother.
This hotel realy does have it all, amazing views, superb food, and fantastic staff ! Without a doubt the best hotel in cornwall we have stayed at, and we have tried many

We stayed here for 1 night on our tour of Cornwall.

They had upgraded our room to a premier seaview room - which was totally huge, really plush and comfortable, and with a balcony. Also, amazing views of the cliffs and the sea.

They were incredibly welcoming of our dog, and even give dogs their own welcome pack with dog chews and poo bags!

The meal in the bistro was terrible, but they had staff shortages and the problems were sorted out quickly and pleasantly, and those eating in the main restaurant seemed happy enough.

Great service and gorgeous cooked breakfasts and a vast breakfast table.

We have stayed at Mullion Cove several times, with our two dogs during August bank holiday and whilst i can agree with comments about the slowness of service in the dinning room on the odd occasion, once mentioned the staff are only to happy to put right your complaint,so just relax. You are in deepest Cornwall enjoy. I love returning to the hotel for the views, walks and the friendliness of the staff, the scrummy menu and i hope it will always remain so.

The hotel and its location are simply breathtaking. I stayed for 5 nights and loved every secdond of it. The room is spotless, the service excellent, the staff highly professional and extremely friendly, the food (especially the diner) simply to die for. I highly recommend this hotel to family, friends and anyone who is even thinking about visiting anywhere near there in Cornwall!
