“If you are close stay here!”

I've been lucky enough to stay here twice with work now and I can honestly say I would bring my family here any time.
From the second you pull up in the car-park this place looks amazing.Once in the door (and usually out of the weather) the very friendly staff make you feel at home.
The rooms are superb with outstanding facilities. WI-FI signal strength does vary but this is due to the building construction and not a great problem really.
Spotless rooms with extremely comfortable beds made for a stress free night.
The food both in the bar and at breakfast is outstanding-best to come here hungry!
I've graded the fitness centre as average but there isn't one-I went for a run along the cliffs! The location is the fitness centre.
The location s fantastic on the top of the cliffs overlooking the sea.
All in all the place to stay in this area.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room, it won't be a better room but the view when the sun comes up will be am...

On a wild wet evening in March we decided to brave the elements and drive up to the Mullion Cove Hotel for an impromptu meal in the Bistro. The rain was driving in from the Atlantic and crashing against the windows but once we were through the door not only was the bistro lovely and warm but so was the welcome.

A drink in the bar and the meal we had selected from the bistro menu soon arrived. I had sea bass which was cooked to perfection - still moist and tasty. Served with capers and saute potatoes this was a meal in its self. My wife had a Thai curry which she said was tasty but still had a bite to it whilst her father had flash fried liver and bacon. This was lovely and pink on the inside and contrasted well with the crispy bacon.

For desert we had their home made ice cream - delicious.

You will not be diapointed with the location of this hotel sitting on the fantastic Cornish cliffs near the Lizard at Mullion Cove, the views are out of this world. The hotel has had a very pleasent upgrade its all looking fresh. We went for a mothers day lunch last Sunday we were a party of seven, we parked in the ample car park on entry the bar lounge is on your left you can have a bar meal in this section if required, after we ordered our drinks we went to one of the other lounges the barman taking our coats to the cloakroom. The dining room was very nice we were shown to our round table which is so much better than a square or rectangular one, we had the set menu with a choice of starters mains and sweets, the food was out of this world, the staff were fantastic, friendly, helpfull. I am looking forward to my next visit. I think Sunday set lunch is £15 per person which is very good for the quality of the food and service you receive.

Room Tip: We did not stay over night just went for a meal but I would think it would be a great holiday destin...

Chris, Lorraine and Mary were among many staff at this hotel who went the extra mile to make our stay exceptionally comfortable. They looked after the dog, they upgraded our room free of charge, the chatted and listened with interest, showed immense kindness and served sublime food. Delightful people, beautiful decor, clean comfortable warm rooms, dog friendly and very personal. They could not have done more to foster a warm intimate family atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble. The views are spectacular, the showers and baths a real treat, the beds great the food divine, but it is the kindness of the people that really made this stay so out of the ordinary.

Room Tip: The garden suite is worth every penny

Although this hotel is set on the Lizzard peninsular the journey is well worth it. It is clear that this hotel has undergone a significant but very tasteful refurbishment under the watching hand of the owners who also own the Thurlestone Hotel.
The sea vies are fantastic and to wake up ( room 212) and see the rolling waves in the bay suggests a longer stay is needed to explore the surrounding area.
The Staff are very welcoming on arrival and will do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. The various lounges enable you find a comfy sofa and get stuck into a good book in the evening.
The food is modern in style and offers a range of local produce. All well presented at the table. I suspect in the summer months the table by the windows will be very popular.
Make the time, take the journey, enjoy the area and the hotel as it will not disappoint.

Room Tip: Go for a sea view

Stayed here for a 2012 Christmas party, our room was lovely, real high quality furnishing and a large modern bathroom. The view from our window was great, just window to horizon filled by the sea.

We had coffees on arrival and they were huge. After a quick change into the DJ's we had a lovely meal, I had French onoin soup for starter which was perfect, none of this oily hard onion business. For main I enjoyed roast guinea fowl which was delicious, a real hats off to the chefs.

My comendations to the bar man who remebered exactly which drinks I wanted for the four of us, doesn't sound like an achivement but the guest numbers were pusing the one hundred mark!

In the morning we enjoyed breakfast and coffee which was cooked to order and came with plenty of toast and coffee.

A fantastic venue, so accommodating, I look forward to next year.

Room Tip: The higher up, the better the view.

Mullion Cove Hotel It is worth the very long journey to reach this Hotel. Near The Lizard there are wonderful views from our upgraded comfortable and freshly decorated room. Very welcoming excellant service and very good food, interesting menus and beautifully presented. There are several lounges which was very useful when one comes with a party. It was warm and friendly.

Room Tip: We liked the 2nd floor rooms quiet and comfortable, the corner suite looked superb too.
