We stayed here at the for two night at the beginning of July. Our room had a sea view was adequate for the two of us, the bathroom was a good size and lovely and clean, Espa toiletries made it even more luxurious! Tea and coffee making facilities and best of all a professional hairdryer!
The menu for dinner was a bit limited made worse by the fact that they had run out of some of the specials but it was delicious, we also had lunch there the next day as it was raining and decided that the food was better than we had anticipated.
This is very much a family orientated hotel although there were a number of couples staying, but I would think it would be excellent if you did have children to stay here,
The staff were all sociable and we never had a problem getting served for drinks or meals.
The hotel does send out a news sheet each morning which gives you some ideas on what is available in the area.
We were also contacted by reception before we arrived so we could book a time for our evening meal and to see if we had any special requests as well as being consulted on which type of pillows we would prefer! Very good attention to detail meaning good customer service all round!

This is a first class hotel, with exceptional and attentive staff, superb food and beautiful location. We stayed for just three nights and wished it could have been a lot longer. The rooms (we had interconnected rooms) were a good size, clean, comfortable and had amazing views across the sea, simple touches like the generous quality toiletries and robes were really appreciated. The weather during our stay wasn't great, but it didn't stop us having a lovely few days. The Vista lounge is stunning and a lovely place to lounge around and relax. We thoroughly appreciated the fact that we could let our children (10 & 13) roam happpily around the hotel, although they wanted to spend most of the time in the well provisioned games room or in their own private cinema screening. We would have liked to have been able to spend more time in the cove, but weather precluded that, however we did enjoy a leisurely walk along the coast, past the Marconi monument and down to Poldhu Bay. Dinner in the main dining room is a must, with unrivalled views to accompany unrivalled food (apart from when the fog settles in). Although billed as a family hotel, we were surprised how many 'older' couples were staying at the hotel, which made it feel less kiddie-centric. We would certainly be happy to go back with or without our children!! Any negative comments (such as mild dissapointment with the indoor pool) seem very petty against the backdrop of a genuinely good hotel. Thank you for giving us such a good few days.

This has been one of the best hotels I have stayed in abroad or at home. I am from the US and am used to decent sized rooms and am usually cramped when I travel to Europe. The Polurrian had excellent sized rooms and bathrooms. The wait staff was completely on top of their game. I never had to wait around for anything. I had numerous employees ask if I had been seen to or if I needed anything.

This is a completely family/kid friendly hotel. There are toys in almost every room for children of all ages, including a cincema room with many DVDs to choose from. There is also a play area with staff if you need a break from your children!

The rooms and entire hotel were spotless. The views of the coast of Mullion could not be beat. Everyone was friendly and made sure you did not want for anything. On top of it all, breakfast was included and free wifi was available for all. They had an indoor and outdoor pool, spa, and work-out gym free of charge.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling alone or with family. I hope to stay here again in the future.

This was our Summer holiday this year 1 week in Cornwall. The accommodation, booked via Secret Locations, was reasonably priced considering the location and facilities available. We opted out of eating evening meals at the hotel because the price of a 2 course meal was £36 which was much more than we were prepared to pay although I do not doubt that the quality would have been really good, there is a lesser priced menu which includes e.g.beefburger and chips £12.There is an outdoor swimming pool(not used by us because it was to cold)and an indoor swimming pool ,gym with all the usual torture items and various spa treatments. The staff were really good in both reception and waiters. There are other places to eat nearby and I would recommend the Halzephron Inn.

Room Tip: Try Secret Locations for booking as I think it was a bit cheaper than booking direct.Room 805 is nea...

We spent 3 nights, the view from our room was amazing, large clean and modern, we could have spent all day just staring our the window at the beautiful view or the sea. The food was great and the staff were very helpful.
We had our two dog with us and they were made very welcome.

Room Tip: Worth paying for a sea view

Stayed here for one night travelling on business with a colleague. Staff were friendly and welcoming, facilities were excellent. Clean spacious room, large clean modern shower room.
Gym is well kitted out with modern equipment. Vista restaurant is a superb dining experience, best steak I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection. Wine is over-priced; £53 for two bottles of Malbec!
Unable to check out due to lack of reception staff meant I had to leave my contact details and a photo copy of my credit card - not so great.
