What a tranquil retreat - only the sound of the sea and birdsong. Just what the doctor ordered to recharge flagging cityite's batteries. Susie's welcome of lovely home made scones and clotted cream went down a treat and set the scene for a perfect week in a lovely cottage. we really appreciated the attention to detail - the cottage has a very restful interior with colours that suit the location perfectly, complemented by bespoke soft furnishings. Thank you Susie hope to see you again very soon!

Stayed for a couple of nights with some Italian friends. They thought the location paradise, nice and clean, Susie very accommodating and kind, wonderful views and walking from the house.

Halftides is a beautiful B&B in the most spectacular setting. Susie's welcome is informal and warm. She is a really excellent chef. Breakfast and dinner are to a very high standard. You can walk for miles and leave the car behind. It is a perfect way to visit the beautiful Lizard Peninsula.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Susie's beautiful self catering cottage. Whilst the cottage is tiny, it is beautifully furnished with comfy beds and crisp white bed linen. The situation is spectacular and within a couple of minutes of leaving the front door you can be on the amazing coastal path. Susie herself is a great hostess, there if you need her but allowing you your privacy if you don't. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Stunning views of the sea from the bedroom windows, extremely comfortable bed, delicious breakfast (and cream tea), beautifully decorated, great location down a quiet lane and adjacent to the coast path and Susie was a delightful host (as was Ripples!).Sets the standard for B&Bing - we shall be back one day!

Room Tip: Both rooms are excellent

In a spectacular position, facing the sea at Mullion Cove, this is a beautifully modernised house set down a quiet country lane. The house has a well maintained garden (barbecues available in good weather) and the interior is tastefully and luxuriously furnished and decorated (William Yeorward upholstery etc). Susie is a friendly and hospitable host and provides delicious breakfasts which include freshly squeezed orange juice. Scrumptious dinners also available. She is a mine of information on the local attractions and Halftides is wholeheartedly recommended!

We enjoyed the cottage immenselt mid October 2011.
The location was amazing, together with the ease of access onto stunning coastal paths with great vistas.
The cottage was cosy and snug. We would highly recommend it for those seeking a peaceful rural hideaway !
