What else can I add that hasn't been said already? Exceptional in every way, spotlessly clean, magnificent views over the harbour and a hearty cornish breakfast.Ideally situated for touring the far south-west. Already planning the next visit.

Excellent position above the harbour - awesome views of the very active harbour activities! Nice hosts! We had a lovely sunny room with a balcony overlooking the harbour. A very tiny bathroom, but a nice sized shower recess. Breakfast was really delicious!

A warm welcome, on our arrival from our hosts.

Excellent location with panoramic views of Mevagissey Harbour and across the bay towards Fowey, from both the dining room, and the balcony of our room 'Albert'. The room was comfortable with the little extras such as wine glasses and a corkscrew.

A varied breakfast menu , the full Cornish breakfast is lovely, sets you up well for walking the local coast path. We'll be staying here again

Ian and Val provide a warm welcome to their stunning home on top of Polkirt Hill which affords a stunning panoramic view of Mevagissey village and harbour. The house is spotlessly clean and very peaceful (I slept like a top, something I rarely do at home!), and I have never before seen such a varied choice on the breakfast menu, all produce locally sourced. I wholeheartedly recommend Honeycombe House to anyone who appreciates quality and value for money, plus those personal touches that make all the difference.

Dictated to me by my Dad: "Very friendly welcome, excellent room (Victoria Room) with balcony with stunning views over Mevagissey harbour, superb breakfast - fruit etc and full Cornish. Card and box of chocolates awaited our arrival."
Thank you Val and Ian for looking after Mum and Dad so well. They said it couldn't have been better.

Room Tip: Victoria and Albert rooms both have balconies overlooking the harbour.

A beautiful room, wonderful view over the countryside, and when I walked into the dining room all I could say was, "Wow!" The view over Mevagissey harbour was stunning. Ian and Val were welcoming, efficient and charming to talk to, full of useful information about the area. They had thought of everything. Wonderful!

Had a wonderful 3-day stay here in September 2012.
The walk to the property up Polkirk Hill is pretty unforgiving, but,as they say,no pain no gain. The views from Honeycombe House are absolutely awesome!!
Proprietors Ian and Val are so well suited to the trade and were perfect hosts during our all too brief stay.My wife and I can only concur with all the other guests who have posted positive reviews concerning this location. Our only regret was that we didn't get to meet the family pooch who was discreetly kept in the living quarters away from the guests(although meetings can be arranged by appointment!!).
Once again we would like to thank both Ian and Val for such a memorable break.....at home we are still trying to replicate your delicious breakfasts!!

Room Tip: Victoria and Albert rooms have breathtaking sea views from their own private balconies
