“Fantastic service, beautiful location - would definitely recommend”

I stayed at this B&B for two nights in the Albert room. Both the B&B and room itself were spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a beatiful view from our balcony looking out onto the harbour - if going to stay I would definitely recommend staying in a room with a balcony. The owners were friendly and hospitable. There was a good selection of breakfast options which was served in a sunny room looking out onto the sea. We would definitely visit again.

Honeycombe House is a beautiful, clean, traditional B&B. The rooms are lovely and clean. The views are breathtaking. We only met Ian but he was so helpful, letting us print off our boarding pass for our flight home. Breakfast was lovely with delicious sausages and bacon. There isn't a great choice but no different than most B&B's we have stayed in. The rooms are spacious and have little touches like fresh flowers, binoculars, and fudge for you to enjoy. The guest tray of tea, coffee, water, biscuits etc was replenished every day and this is something we have never had from a B&B when staying more than 1 night. We felt very at ease here and was made to feel at home during our stay. If we could have changed anything it would have been to have a king size bed (i'm 5'8 and my hubby is 6'3) instead of a double. Unfortunately i didn't get much sleep, but this didn't effect anything too much and it wouldn't put me off staying here again. The shower room is a little cramped but the lovely shower more than makes up for that!
If you are looking for anywhere to eat go to Salamander (at the bottom of the hill turn left down a side street) You will need to book a table but the food was some of the best we have ever eaten. Avoid the Spice Merchant. As massive curry fans we were lost for words at the terrible service and food.

This recently renovated B&B is perched on a hill high above the village. The breakfast area is lined with picture windows and offers a spectacular view of the harbor and hill opposite. Our room was well appointed, the beds were very comfortable, and the entire house was clean and sparkling. The owner-hosts, Ian & Val, were very friendly and helpful. Be sure to email them for directions to their house and car parking before you arrive in Mevagissey. Internet is usually available but was not operational during our short stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the Honeycombe House Hotel in Mevagissey. We had wonderful breakfasts, very accomodating proprieters, and astonishing views of the village, harbor and sea from the breakfast room and from the balconey off one of our rooms. Ian was very helpful with local information and color. The village is sweet and friendly, with several harbor-front pubs and restaurants, some good, interesting shopping.

I had the most wonderful stay with Ian and Val at their lovely B&B again last week. They are incredibly accommodating and friendly and the B&B is also blessed with probably the best views in Mevagissey. The two rooms at the front have the best view and I enjoy to sit in bed with a cup of coffee and watch the comings and goings in the harbour. My husband always turns up with his bike and Ian and Val see to it that he gets the right feeding to suit his training rides. They are also very good at having their brains picked for the ideal places to go and visit and always know the best routes to take. We are already looking forward to our next visit with them.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a great choice, our hosts made us feel at home .The rooms are well equiped and maintained - clearly lots of care taken here.

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed them all - my husbands highlight was the cooked breakfast !!! I know he will want to go again.

Well done Ian & Val

We have stayed in many B&B's and Honeycombe House is one of our favourites, one of the best we have ever stayed in. Ian and Val are perfect hosts and very accommodating, particularly with my cycling requirements. Unbeatable views from Honeycombe House over Mevagissey and the sea. The rooms are very nicely finished. We will be back again for another stay.
