We stayed at Camellia Cottage for 6 nights and what a delight! The cottage is lovely with new furnishings and absolutely everything you could possibly need. Two bedrooms downstairs were exceptionally comfortable--one queen and two singles. The Queen had own en suite and the main bath was directly opposite the other. There was a washer/dryer there too. Laundry detergent provided as well as drying rack. Heating was everywhere and we were very comfortable. Upstairs the kitchen had dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer along with ample dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and our hosts provided a starter pack of bread, butter, eggs, milk, juice and even a bottle of wine. Of course there was coffee, tea and bickies as well and every other little thing you could possibly need--even a first aid kit. Nothing was overlooked.
The lounge area had comfortable seating, large tv with plenty of viewing choices and dvds for the kids. There were games and toys as well. The eating area had a very sturdy table and chairs. There was a high chair available and baby gates for the stairs top and bottom.
Getting there was a little challenging having to navigate through the small lanes of country England but it was so worth it. There was a lovely pub just a few minutes away. Our hosts were wonderful and so friendly as was everyone we encountered during our visit. We just didn't want to leave. You won't either!
The surrounding area was beautiful--lush hills with cows, serene lake with water lillies and parking right outside the door.

I stayed here for a few days recently with my partner and her 10 year old son. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like one of the family and nothing was too much trouble for the new owners.
To say they attended to our every whim would be an under statement. Everything, right down to the smallest detail was covered and the friendly, approachable nature of the owners made you feel at ease straight away and if you needed anything then it was no hassle for them.
I would definitely return to Kilbol country house and just hope they're not booked up!!!

My wife and I stayed in the cottage attached to Kilbol House. The cottage was very clean and well presented. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The living area is upstairs with a large balcony facing the beautiful countryside. This was our first visit and we would very happily visit again and again. We had a great time and would highly recommended it to all visitors

Despite the most unpleasant weather we were made to feel most welcome. This is a very peaceful location with nice room and shower and dog friendly too. Our hosts were helpful friendly and professional. The food is also first class presented nicely with fresh fish , steak , and if you are very lucky you may get to taste the best fish pie in the country!!!! There is also other choices each day all home cooked to a very high standard. We would call in just to eat... home from home

Room Tip: Upgrade if possible
