Perhaps a little difficult to find but well worth the effort. Tony and Jenny were easy to chat to and clearly more than able to put the AGA to the best use – we were well fed and watered throughout our four day stay and found the hotel to be well furnished clean and most comfortable. A good deal of the food is produced in the hotel garden and is therefore fresh and tasty. A quiet location which met our requirements perfectly. We were holidaying in Cornwall – we also spent a few days in the Falmouth area – mainly to view the many suberb gardens and country houses in the County and of course this hotel is conveniently near the Lost Gardens of Heligan though other similar horticultural pleasures are to be found within a shortish drive. When at the hotel consider if you can spending a little extra on the lobster on offer, which Jenny is adapt at presenting in cordon bleu manner. We would certainly rebook if in the area again – even if the narrow roads are somewhat of a challenge!

Just coming to an end of a weeks holiday at Camelia Cottage. It has been a super holiday and the cottage is a perfect base for visiting the lovely coastline of East Cornwall. The owners Jenny and Tony are very helpful and friendly..nice to get the call on our first night enquiring if everything was ok.It is so peaceful here and the cottage has a lovely terrace to sit out on pleasant evenings..the view is super. We recommend it for families and couples alike. We wish we had brought our dog because we know he would have been made very welcome. The local pub is delightful and food wonderful. We have visited so many little coves and beaches in just a week..you are really spoilt for choice and there is a beach for everyone. We thoroughly recommend!

Whilst wanting a short break from our business we searched on the internet and stumbled upon Kilbol. As we have 3 small dogs and it was short notice we thought it may be a bit difficult. We sent an email to Jenny and Tony and got a prompt warm reply and booked immediately.
Upon arriving at a stunning location we were welcomed and shown to Camellia cottage.
We were so happy, there was plenty of room, it was stunning and so tastefully furnished and decorated. We had our own balcony for the dogs that looked out over the most beautiful views you could imagine.
We weren't far from anything, yes there were short drives up little country lanes but this just added to the quaintness.
We were advised where to go for beaches, shops and other amenities and we have to say that this is the best break that we have ever had.
We will be returning as soon as we possibly can. We have found paradise

A lovely peaceful setting in a wooded valley. Excellent service and wonderful AGA cooked breakfast. Not for those wanting anything but peace and quiet ringing in your ears! If I had one gripe it would be that the suppers worked out quite expensive, if all courses weren't ordered, and some of the choices were not to the taste of my children; although they are clear that they don't specifically cater for those with families. It is easy to reach all parts of Cornwall from here, so a great base for day trips.

A hidden gem, well worth seeking out. The Kilbol is situated in beautiful, peaceful gardens with a swimming pool and close to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.
The meals are so good that having booked 3 days, we stayed longer in order to enjoy the home grown or locally sourced food. We were made very welcome by both humans and dogs and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing break.

The hosts, Tony and Jenny, made the all too short stay a really enjoyable one. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their natural desire to please coupled with their good humour added to the welcoming ambiance of the Hotel. The Menu choice was good, the food excellent and the choice of wines wide enough to suit most, if not all, guests. The room was en-suite, very clean, colourful and afforded a very comfortable night's sleep. Though a quiet yet delightful location it was near enough to places of local interest - St. Mawes, Falmouth (Maritime Museum), St Austell (Museums), the coast, and was very good value for money. If and when time permits we will go there again, and have already recommended the Hotel to friends. Excellent and prompt response to booking request, accompanying notes on the Hotel's location , and advice on local facilities/travel.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay and will return as soon as we can. An absolutely perfect place for a quiet break. Tony and Jenny are fantastic hosts and also excellent cooks. The food is fresh, deliciousand plentiful. Nothing is to much trouble and the dogs Bracken, Holly and Bramble are entertaining and good company especially at night sat in the comfortable bar with the log fire. My husband loved the wine list. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the company, dogs and divine food!
