A little gem, a great amount of local history and information, and its all free. Make a donation and fill in the gift aid form to help keep this museum open.

Worth a visit on your way around the harbour, but not really a day out or in merit of a special trip.

“Wonderful collection of historical artefacts”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

This was such an interesting museum to visit both for old and young, with activities and stories throughout. The people working there were really friendly too and seemed very proud of their heritage, which was good to see.

“Local History of the area”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

There was lots to read and look at in this little Museum, and a pirate trail for the kids to follow too. It was a bit dark in there and the manikins were a bit creepy. A traditional Museaum explaining lots about the local area. Free to go in, donations accepted.
