beautiful cottage, very much 'home from home'. Everything very good quality and extremely well maintained.
Wonderful welcome,-flowers, cream tea, coffee, tea sugar and milk to perk you up after your journey-so thoughtful.
Gold award very well deserved!

Seafarer's Watch is the perfect place for a relaxing & scenic holiday. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy, clean & comfortable. A great base to explore Cornwall, it's lovely villages & South West Coast path.

Liked best: The little touches that many properties lack. The owners have gone to a great deal of trouble to make this cottage comfortable.
Liked least: Nothing to dislike

We are returning for the fourth time this year to this gem of a cottage. Set up high in Mevagissey it affords spectacular views. The cottage is compact but has quality furnishings & everything you need. The walk down to the harbour is around 5 mins, but is a steep haul back up the hill! There is a small shop selling the basics, but St Austell is not far & has several of the major supermarkets. Heligan Gardens are a must! The boat trip to Fowey is brilliant!

“Cosy cottage, containing everything a guest could need.”

We were very impressed with the detailed directions to the property making it easy to find, when we entered we were greated by a warm cottage that even had a beautiful christmas tree put up for us.
This property contains all the things you would need to enjoy your stay from all the kitchen equipment, games for children and even small details like torches by the beds. Great for those dark evenings coming home from the pub!!
Lovely shower in the bathroom, plenty of hot water for us all to shower one after the other. although the bathroom is not large it is big enough. Personally would have prefered larger towels, but the ones provided were beautifully embroidered with seafarers watch and were nice and fluffy.
Living area contains a double leather sofa and two singles which both had plenty of cushions and throws lovely for curling up with a good book while being able to enjoy the sea view. Also nice large tv, dvd player and x-box although games provided not suitable for young children they would probably be popular with older children on those wet days in!
Beds were nice and comfortable and plenty of spare throws if required were available although we found it warm enough not to need them.
Seafarers watch is a great cottage for anyone that is not going to find steep hills difficult as to get down to the village there is a short very steep hill, less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage to harbour.
Overall a great cottage and we would go back again.
