We visited in mid January and lots of the village was closed but this place which specialises (obviously) in tea was open and were we glad we didn't miss it. We had the special Cornish earl grey and it was just that - special. How many different choices of tea they have I don't know but there is something for everyone.
Food we had sandwiches - my bacon and cornish brie was exquisite, thick slices of brie and loads of bacon and the wife's tune and cucumber were great and plentiful, no skimping on the filling.
And finally they make people and their dogs very welcome giving the dog a biscuit, blanket to lie on and water if required.
Very friendly owners and staff.

Being January, a lot of places were closed and the streets were mainly empty. Otherwise we might have missed this gem. Our dog was spoiled rotten with a bed, a blanket, a clean bowl of water, lots of strokes and hand-fed treats. Meanwhile my wife and I had coffee and I couldn't resist a portion of apple flan with a fudge-like caramel topping. Yum. All the staff were very friendly. A wonderful find.

We met up with some friends who had two tiny kids and a dog and were struggling to find somewhere suitable for a cuppa and cake when we stumbled upon this place. Dog friendly and child friendly. And what lovely people. They were so welcoming and so good with the little ones. So glad we found it. You won't find more accommodating people or a better pot of tea.
