Location brilliant, everything on doorstep lovely eating places, walks, shops , beautiful apartment very modern clean and airy, parking brilliant,
As a first time visitor to Cornwall, Mevagissey provided just about everything I had hoped. "Pretty as a picture", this little, historic village is perfectly positioned for sightseeing, coastal walks and at the right time of the year, a bonus swim. The apartment is exactly as the photos show and I must add, extremely good value for money. There is plenty to do even without a car. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are within walking distance and I spent a beautiful sunny day in Truro (well worth a visit). Public transport is easy but check the schedules because the connections aren't always convenient also, have a backup plan if you are looking to travel to Fowey on the ferry. I missed out more than once when it was cancelled due to the "Easterlies"
and rough seas. It was a good excuse to repair to the She Sells cafe by the harbour for a "handpicked" crab crepe. The Fountain Inn deserves a visit if only for a thirst quencher and Moores is a must for provisions local and fresh. Little China takeaway just around the block is worth a visit too. Thank you Juliette, it was lovely. I am revived!
This flat is perfectly situated just 2 minutes from the harbour.
The flat itself is beautiful, with local pictures and nautical themed decor. The beds were very comfy!
Everything had been thought of; milk in the fridge, local welcome gift was lovely as was the chocolate from The Eden Project!
The private parking space was very useful.
Mevagissey is full of beautiful shops and excellent pubs. Our favourite was The Shark's Fin. Great food and very friendly staff, my son loved it.
What a gem of an apartment we booked. Lovely decor throughout - bright, airy and pristine. Everything considered by owner, from towels to paracetamol!!
Kitchen was well stocked if you want to eat in. Beds can be two singles or a double and are very comfy.
Fantastic location, within a stones throw of pubs, restaurants, harbour, shops and beaches.
Off road parking. Easy driving distance to The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, aswell as numerous National Trust properties.
Everyone we met whilst in Mevagissey was friendly and helpful.
The only disappointment was that the dolphin seeking ferry to Fowey wasn't running until Easter - but that just means we'll have to return and stay again!!
Fabulous Juliette! Thank you.
Great apartment booked as a last minute getaway for my partner and I.
Being familiar with Mevagissey I was well aware that any accommodation with parking is a bonus, so this was the icing on the cake.
Juliette has really thought of everything you could possibly need.
Will be sure to visit again and recommend to friends and family.
