My partner and I stayed at the Seavista for 3 nights at the end of March 2014. Parking outside the front was ample (although we were the only people staying at the time). We got to the reception and were met by Kate who immediately offered to help carry our luggage and offered us a coffee with some cake. Brilliant first impressions!
We were shown to our rooms and Kate was really helpful. Her partner Ozzy was also really helpful giving us lots of info about local cycle trails. They very kindly let us store our bikes in a private section of the B&B that is secure.
The B&B has a fresh and clean appearance. The B&B had recently been refurbished and it showed, the rooms have a very open feel, minimalist. The en-suite bathrooms are very clean and modern with a good size. My only minor criticism of the rooms would be the laminate flooring throughout the rooms which can be a bit cold on the feet getting out of bed in the morning.
We had a small issue with the room we had booked but when we told Carol, she and Kate bent over backwards to sort it even though it wasn't anything they'd done wrong. Amazing. We got a good nights sleep from this point on with no further issues.
The breakfast was just epic every morning and whilst I had the full english breakfast everyday, the menu catered for everyone (including gluten free and vegans).
Whilst the room prices are higher than the surrounding B&B's, I believe they're fully justified. Friendly, helpful, very clean, fresh and amazing views.
Thanks to Kate, Ozzy, Carol, Barny and Mojo for a great stay!
