“Lovely and Clean B&B With A Nice Vibe”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

My partner and I stayed at the Seavista for 3 nights at the end of March 2014. Parking outside the front was ample (although we were the only people staying at the time). We got to the reception and were met by Kate who immediately offered to help carry our luggage and offered us a coffee with some cake. Brilliant first impressions!

We were shown to our rooms and Kate was really helpful. Her partner Ozzy was also really helpful giving us lots of info about local cycle trails. They very kindly let us store our bikes in a private section of the B&B that is secure.

The B&B has a fresh and clean appearance. The B&B had recently been refurbished and it showed, the rooms have a very open feel, minimalist. The en-suite bathrooms are very clean and modern with a good size. My only minor criticism of the rooms would be the laminate flooring throughout the rooms which can be a bit cold on the feet getting out of bed in the morning.

We had a small issue with the room we had booked but when we told Carol, she and Kate bent over backwards to sort it even though it wasn't anything they'd done wrong. Amazing. We got a good nights sleep from this point on with no further issues.

The breakfast was just epic every morning and whilst I had the full english breakfast everyday, the menu catered for everyone (including gluten free and vegans).

Whilst the room prices are higher than the surrounding B&B's, I believe they're fully justified. Friendly, helpful, very clean, fresh and amazing views.

Thanks to Kate, Ozzy, Carol, Barny and Mojo for a great stay!

We stayed here for our 'mini moon' in February and had a magical time. Kate, Mum and family made us feel very welcome and spoilt us with delicious breakfasts and lovely suggestions on how we could best spend our few days in Cornwall. We loved our surf lesson with Pete at King Surf down the road, had a lovely coastal stroll to Watergate Bay and enjoyed a visit to sweet Fowey en route home. We loved our sea view room and I'm now feeling inspired by the awesome wallpaper and beautiful touches throughout the B&B and can't wait to nest! Thank you all for making our visit so special and we'll definitely be back! Hayley and Alex x

We recently needed an overnight stay at very short notice for a flight out of Newquay airport. Although officially closed for the winter, we were taken in by Kate and her family and shown overwhelming hospitality. The rooms were well furnished and had lovely showers and good facilities. We were so impressed that we will be making the trip again to stay for longer.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My Girlfriend and I were looking to book a B&B down in Cornwall and had heard about the lovely Mawgan Porth. SeaVista was recommended to us by friends so we booked without hesitation.

We stayed at SeaVista for two nights in October and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. Kate and Oz (the owners) we super welcoming and great hosts. Our room was spot on - great bed, incredible views out over the rolling countryside to the back of the B&B, rain showers the whole lot! The garden to the front of the B&B has been beautifully done and the elevated views out to Mawgan Porth beach are amazing! And the breakfast is one of the best i have had!

The owners said that the whole B&B has recently been renovated and not only has the whole place been done to a really high standard, every little detail has been thought of.

If you are looking for a lovely, family run B&B in Cornwall with great rooms, perfect location, a hearty breakie, (all at a reasonable price) look no further! These guys have got it just right.

My boyfriend & I stayed at Seavista for 2 nights last weekend and it was perfect! We stayed in Room 4 which was beautifully decorated it had everything you needed, comfortable bed, massive shower, sea view, tv, kettle just all the essentials! Breakfast was gorgeous we both had the cooked breakfast & scrambled eggs & salmon on lightly toasted bagels, it was delicious! We both felt totally relaxed in seavista, we just loved everything about it. The atmosphere, the decoration, the food & of the course the welcoming staff. Everyone was just so friendly, especially Kate who gave us advice on where to eat. We loved our stay, we have recommended it to all our friends & family and we will hopefully be visiting again soon! Thank you to everyone at Seavista! Grace & Ben xxx

From the welcome to the goodbye our experience of the Seavista was first class. A nice cup of tea and cake welcomed us to the Seavista. We booked to stay in the king room with fantastic views of the valley and beach below, a relaxing time was what we wanted and Kate and her family welcomed us to their delightful home from home. Tastefully decorated, very comfortable and extremely clean topped off with as good a breakfast you will get anywhere , we would recommend the Seavista to everyone , B&B holidaying has come a long long way!!

Room Tip: Room 3 , the best in the house
