“Small and friendly”
Reviewed June 22, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Excellent short break. Stable cottage a little more compact than I'd have liked I think we'd have struggled with 2 border collies if it had rained.

Otherwise wonderful. Great views. Fab pool. Quiet get away from it break with bude on the doorstep.

Woukd I book again. Yes.

“Excellent family break”
Reviewed May 15, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The cottage we had (manor) was the keenest size for 3 adults and 2 children. Faye the owner made sure we had a travel cot, highchair and stair gate as well as a baby bath and black out blinds, more than you'd expect. The grounds were full of fun; trampoline, slide and football as well as a clean and warm pool and hot tub. It was a quiet and picturesque place, great location, 10 minutes to 2 beaches and the town of Bude. We'll be back to check out the local pub

“Love it here - home from home ”
Reviewed March 18, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Love it here - home from home. We are currently staying in the cottage that sleeps 7 (for the second time) we have stayed here several times and tried a couple of the other cottages - they are all clean and equipped for a great relaxing holiday. The hot tub is a joy too! Can't wait till our next visit without kids - 10 adults in September we also recommend the Bullers Arms for great food & service within walking distance & a giggle to walk to in the dark!

“Weekend trip”
Reviewed March 12, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Had an impromptu weekend away in Pound Cottage. Spotlessly clean, well appointed and perfect for our crawling 11-monther having no stairs! Our eldest loved being able to run around on the large grassy garden/play area and enjoyed the games room. It's a beautiful rural, quiet location.
We'll try very hard to come back in the summer, and enjoy the pool, but really it's a great place any time of year.

“Fantastic long weekend”
Reviewed November 4, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We stayed here for a long weekend with our two great nephews age 8 and 12 and our two dogs and had a fantastic time. The cottage was lovely and there is so much space outside, the boys loved the games room ( and so did we ) tennis court, trampoline etc . Lovely views as well. Not far from Bude and the local pub in the village does a very tasty Sunday Carvery and the dogs can go in too. Great walks along the canal and a very nice bistro at the end of the walk where you can have coffee or lunch. We will definitely return and the boys are very keen to return too.

“A magical place for our family get together”
Reviewed July 21, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Our family of 10 recently stayed in the farmhouse and we all agreed that the accommodation and facilities were first rate. The farmhouse was spotless, the pool was used every day and so too was the hot tub. My grandsons enjoyed the football goals and my little grand daughters were in their element feeding the animals. Faye and her husband were very friendly and welcoming and I would highly recommend Hilton Holidays to anyone who wants a lovely place to stay for a holiday. We will definitely be returning!!
