Serving freshly ground coffees artisan teas and mouth-watering slices of cake. We stopped at the Weir on our walk along the Bude canal path. What a lovely pit stop. On a sunny day it’s a perfect place to stop and admire the view. Great for coffee or lunch. Lovely watching the wildlife and the lake. Fab find!

Food that I had was very good eggs and salmon on English muffin . Had a pot of tea with it . Ordered another pot of tea £1.80 I paid waited 20 minutes and had to go, on leaving told the staff about it , and said put the money in the charity box, I hope they did ? We then went on the Segway which was brilliant , well done Wayne for your service

6 of us arrived at 11:20 for a late breakfast on Sunday. The sign on the counter said there was an approximate wait of 45 mins. This is a very long time but we agreed to wait (outside as there were no tables inside). The food arrived after 1 hour 20 minutes.
I had to chase it up twice. We were offered free drinks to be fair. But this was only after I complained. When speaking to the server, we found out that there are ONLY 2 PEOPLE THAT WORK IN THE KITCHEN. For a place with at least 70 tables this seems really odd.
No sense of any management or owner that seemed to give a crap.
We are never going to visit again.

It's well worth the walk from Bude along the canal. It's in a great setting next to the lake which is full of ducks and geese. Nice seating outside if the weather is good. Food is excellent as is the service. Very good paninis. Not cheap but good value.

We had family and friends down to visit and met up here for breakfast. Ordered just after 11am, plenty of time so no rush although I had to be at a meeting at 12.30 just up the road. Place was not that busy but it seemed like all the staff were in slow motion or on strike.
At 12.05 we asked where our food was to be told 5 minutes. At 12.17 I had to go and ask the man on the till to make mine a takeaway as I had no more time. All the drinks were served to us at just gone 11, so were all cold by now, they did send more drinks but by now we were all fed up, I left and the others got their food at 12.30.
This was not a special meal, just a few sausages and egg etc, but the service is awful.
