“Wow! A real treat of a house”
Reviewed December 13, 2017 for a stay in December 2017

We booked this farmhouse for a girls weekend away with work colleagues.
It was stunning.
Beautifully decorated, spacious and oh so cosy!
The wood burners were a real treat and kept the place super toasty. I have never stayed anywhere where the kitchen was so well equipped and there were thoughtful little touches everywhere.
Perfect for exploring the area, although to be honest the house was so lovely, no-one wanted to leave, even though the pub was opposite!
beds were comfy, there was ample shower/bathroom facilities.
We will certainly be coming back and would recommend this highly to anyone, families or groups. There was something for everyone.

“Four hundred year old Farmhouse with all mod cons”
Reviewed September 25, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed here for a week with children and grandchildren - 10 of us in all. It was an excellent choice for a family holiday. We had six bedrooms, five en suite, plus there was a separate family bathroom. Big lounge and dining room both with wqod fires, and a well fitted kitchen with good quality equipment. The children especially loved the covered, well heated swimming pool. They also loved feeding the pigs, chickens, lamas and goats.

There are several fairly easy walks going from Marhamchurch to Bude, and also to the coast.
The pub, just across the road, was handy for drinks and meals when we didn't feel like cooking.
An extra treat is the little village shop run by charming and helpful volunteers that meant that we didn't have to drive into Bude to get life's essentials if we ran out.

“Perfect”
Reviewed March 17, 2013 for a stay in March 2013

We had relatives over from Australia and wanted a family holiday. Court farmhouse was perfect. Plenty of space, clean, everything in the kitchen to cook for a large group. As we went in march it was very cold outside, but inside it was always warm and cosy. There is an open ire in the lounge and dining room. The dining table is big enough to seat 12 comfortably. The swimming pool was an added bonus. We used it quite a bit to unwind after a long day sightseeing. If you have children they will love the goats, pigs and alpacas. We found the owners to be very helpful and friendly. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. The only down side is the pub across the road is no longer open. I would definitely go back to this property.
