“Great for young families & free”
Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

The bridge and riverside are pretty year round but comes into it's own on hot sunny days when locals and visitors gather on the banks to picnic or bbq whilst the kids play in the river. Note - river is tidal so low tide perfect for little ones.

“Its a bridge”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

It is a very old bridge and there are not many other things to say about it, it was on Sky news during the floods, so a famous bridge,

“Its a bridge”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

To be honest im surprised this is listed as an attraction. its a bridge, you have to walk over it to get to the train station. Its very old and its still standing. Not exactly points of interest!

“keeps me coming back”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

We live just up the road from the bridge and it keeps me coming back - on sunny days it is great to have a picnic by the river and watch the world go by - when the tide is out there is a little 'beach' that children and dogs love to go in and out of the water.

Every July it is the centre for the Carnival duck and raft races, in the winter we wait for the floods to get the tv crews here! Shame they don't show how quickly the water recedes when the tide goes out.

All in all Lostwithiel is definately a 'hidden gem' and Lostwithiel's Tudor bridge one to visit.
