“Sublime vintage tea room”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

What a gem this is!
Genteel afternoon tea and cakes in a lovely little parlour room where customers can use real vintage furniture, crockery, cutlery and tablecloths and then can buy some afterwards. I loved the old 40's armchairs and the radiogram playing old favourites in the background, the dainty mismatched floral teacups and the crochet tea cosies, the warm welcome from the owners.
It made the perfect end to a day's trawl through Lostwithiel's many antique shops.

“TAKES YOU BACK IN TIME”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

Lovely tearoom full of atmosphere of a bygone age. Antique furniture and lots of retro touches add to the charm. Lovely homemade cakes, cornish tea and using local produce. Comfortable and great value. Welcoming and friendly owners.Love the old magazines and papers, they make interesting reading.

“brilliant music”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Excellent idea to turn this lovely antique shop into part small tea room. Good coffee, teas, and cakes. Although there are many good tea rooms in the area, none beats this place for atmosphere and the utilisation of the antiques to make this place special. Old 1940's newspapers to read very good touch, excellent relaxing music, mainly jazz. comfortable settees all antique. The only trouble with this place is that you will want to stay all day....lovely
