This was my first time eating here for lunch. It was busy but the service was spot on, the views across the valley are lovely. The food on the menu is top notch and reasonably priced. I was loving the fact all meals with bread could be made with a gluten free roll. So my ham and mustard roll was lovely, came with a very fresh side salad and crisps. The roll was yummy and the ham was very tasty the honey and mustard sauce super yummy. I was impressed. The waitress even asked if I wanted another roll as they are smaller than there normal ones, but I didn't want to be greedy and it was ample size for lunch. All in all super place, only thing i would like to see would be gluten free cakes or biscuits maybe. I will be back very soon with my mum who is also gluten free.

I've eaten at Duchy Nurseries several times, and have to say it is my favourite place for lunch in Mid Cornwall. The building is lovely, the views across the valley to Restormel Castle are spectacular, the menu is good and the food always well presented. The service is excellent, although for some reason it always seems to take an age to pay on leaving, the staff are friendly, and I cannot praise the place highly enough.

A very nice venue for lunch or just coffee. Very pleasant indeed but can get booked up. On a dry day you can sit outside with great countryside views and tasteful surroundings. Not cheap but not rip off prices for high quality and very good service. Everyone is catered for. Book for Sundays!
Have been several times and not disappointed yet.

My wife and I called in on the recommendation of a local friend.

The Coffee Shop and Nursery are a bit off the beaten track, but then most places are in Cornwall.

The menu provides a wide range of simple dishes, sandwiches all the way through to a 'Posh Venison Burger' and 'Roasted Belly Pork'. The portion sizes are just right for a lunchtime and the prices appear to be value for money with the Burger and Pork dishes at about £8 each. The quality of the ingredients and the care and attention given to the whole experience makes for a very enjoyable experience.

The setting is very pleasant, the building is relatively new (2011) but built using Green Oak, Cobb walls and other traditional materials giving a relaxed atmosphere.

The only negative comment was from my wife who commented on the colour of the water in the toilets which are flushed using 'Grey' water (apparently more of a brown colour) collected from the roof. It would appear the roof shingles colour the water as it drains from the roof.

We will definitely be returning to try some more of the menu.
