Spend a pleasant sunny afternoon walk to these falls which we accidentally stumbled upon whilst driving on Bodmin Moor. The only down side was that the publc toilets were still closed from the winter. Also there is a part path to the falls but not all the way and becareful as some of the route is quite boggy and muddy!! It was well worth the walk

This is a lovely walk and a nice little adventure, there is a rope swing on a tree right on the bend of the shallow river, which is amazing fun. And best of all its FREE! :0D

Golitha Falls has always been a favourite walk for my family and me. There is free parking in the car park opposite. For the most part it is a fairly level walk along the river, with lots of places for children and dogs to run around and hide among the trees. If you are lucky you will spot some wildlife, but even if you don't come across any rabbits, there are lots of different birds in the trees.

At the end of the conventional pathway, you can venture further if you wish. At times this path gets difficult and there can be some climbing uo rocks involved, but that just adds to the fun.

Difficult to describe the directions but lots of photos maps and guidance on line. This is delightful long established beauty spot with plenty of opportunities for walking beside the river at all times of year. Highly recommended.
