We have eaten here many times over the last three years and have always found the food to be of a high calibre. Jerome the chef is French and this is so noticeable in the menu with the occasional traditional French dish making its way onto the menu. Local produce is used where possible and I understand that the chef himself sometimes goes out on the boats to get the catch !!! Dawn the manageress is wonderful and runs the bar and restaurant exceptionally efficiently. Good choice of wines, beers and spirits. Best to book if you don't want to be disappointed or want a long wait. Fridays and Saturdays are always booked up well in advance. A lot of local people drink and eat here and the atmosphere is good and on Sunday evenings there is usually live music and many people congregate outside. Definitely worth a visit.
