“Lovely ice cream and baguettes!”
Reviewed July 23, 2014

They have plenty thing to choose from, I wished I had 2 stomach so I could try their food more.

The price was slightly pricey but sea side cafe would be anywhere and they have got the quality with the price.

Kynance crab baguette was gorgeous, my girl had bacon brie and cranberry and it was mahooosive!

Their ice cream was lovely and so difficult to choose which one to go with.

Staff were friendly, you can use card but minimum payment £10.
Lovely view from the alfresco area.

Went for lunch today, the weather was hot and sunny, sat outside overlooking the beach, freshly cooked food, served quickly, good value, we will return again.

“Fab location”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

We were staying at the Lizard YHA and did a circular walk to take in Kynance Cove. We arrived just as the tide was going out so could walk down to the bay and along the top of the beach to the café. If the tide is too high for you to do this, there is an alternative walk over the top of the cliff. We had the café and bay to ourselves - we sat outside, drinking tea and having some cake - yummy! The flapjack was lovely and I took half away with me to eat later on as it was a large slice!

“A view to die for!”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

We ate here in June 2014, the food was good quality and the view from the garden was breathtaking. The perfect place to stop for a bite to eat and a drink!

“On a sunny day it will take your breath away”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

This is a usual haunt for my wife and myself and we love to sit and watch the world go by on a sunny day. The view is to die for and the food is reasonably priced and fresh and the staff very friendly and helpful.
It is a hike from the car park if you have mobility problems or are wearing flip flops but you will not be disappointed when you get there.
Luckily we live close by and we like to take our dogs for a costal path walk then down to the Cafe. The dogs can get fresh drinking water to cool off etc. However for your information, dogs are not allowed on the beach at Kynance Cove from Easter to October 1st.
There are some fantastic costal path walks in the vicinity that will provide the adventurous walker with some stunning Kodak moments.
As for the food yesterday, my wife had a wonderfully fresh crab sandwich and salad and I had the warm peppered mackerel salad. Both were delicious. That was washed down with two large Americanos and the bill was £20 and a few pence. We had a front row seat, our two rescue Golden Retrievers had lots of attention from all the other customers......and the life felt wonderful.
If you are going down to the Lizard in Cornwall you owe it to yourselves to visit The Kynance Cove Café. On a sunny day the view it is hard to beat anywhere in the world.
