Good all round entertainment for all the family from youngsters for rides science experience tent etc to granny/grandad for the nostalgic victorian village and world war two memorabilia,
all I would say is take a packed lunch and drinks, as refreshments are rather expensive, if you get a chance to go whn they have a firework experience do its fantastic! recently I had the opportunity to attend a wedding function in the Kinglsey centre and again I couldn't fault it a fantastic venue and a good platform for up and coming new bands excellanat

Let's make this clear - this isn't Alton Towers. This is a very sweet little attraction with lots to look at and do, but it's not for thrill seekers.

The good - my children (aged 1, 4 and 6) loved the rides and there was lots they could go on. The queues were short and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food tasted really good - we ate in the blitz café. We didn't visit the war exhibition or the Britain in the Blitz because we thought it might too scary for the children but the Victorian Britain exhibit was fascinating, detailed and interesting for all of us.

The not so good - there are a number of things that require an extra charge once you are in the park. There is plenty to do apart from them, but pester power might mean you end up spending more (we didn't). The food is quite expensive, but you expect that from these places. The entrance is quite expensive too, but you get a lot for your money and we had a discount voucher from the place we were staying - do check if your accommodation offers them.

Our three children had a fantastic day out they will remember for a while. All in all, well worth a visit if you have younger children.

Arrived early, make the most of it. Family trip 5 adults 2 children (one 93cm,). The smallest child had to go on the rides with an adult, which is great if an adult can get on them. tried getting into the mini aeroplanes as husband couldn't get on, never been so hard in all my life. The small train ride broke down with us on it, so my husband and son had to get off and push it back to the start. We did laugh about it and made a joke but really, the small kids wheel takes a while to load and unload, as they don't do what large wheels do one off one on and just remember where you start, no they take one off at a time not in an order as such empty the whole wheel then fill?? the mini kids boats are a waste of time, no queuing system or help there by staff free for all not fair if you
are waiting and a boat stops by someone who just got there as they then get on.
The rest of the rides can be a ruddy long wait, but that's the norm on any of these attraction. I am disabled and I would say there are a few things you can do but not much, they provide wheelchairs not comfortable so take your own. The staff at the restaurant where a bit short with politeness, as by 4 they have a set menu which in fairness could do with more advertising, as you look at main board decide what you like to only get to front of the que to be told we are only doing a set menu. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, once again part of the norm, take a picnic as you can go to your car and return as many times as you like. Disabled toilets are shared with baby changing so only have 4/5 toilets you can have a wait. Lots of money on little things that are extra inside for smaller entertainment, great fire work display on a Wednesday evening that starts at 9.15 making it a very long day. All in all would I return, no not really unless they have a good look at smaller rides and more for disabled.

Had an enjoyable day out here with kids 7 & 9 (would advise caution with older/teen children). Whilst its no Disney park the rides were good for our kids, although some load/unload times are excruciatingly slow. There were few queues for the rides and so you could go on them many times. Park could do with some tlc/paint here and there but it was clean & tidy overall. Dont miss teh exhibitions, they are far too underrated and under promoted, they are very good indeed and the kids like them too.

We used vouchers which made the day affordable, might score the park lower if we had paid full price.

And if you are going to get the return ticket go get it earlier in the day as teh queue at the end of the day is long.

We had a discount voucher from our holiday park and decided to give it a go 4 adults and 3 children we saw from the schedule that there was going to be a fireworks display in the evening so decided to go a bit later for this. The kids had a brilliant time loved every ride and so did the adults!! The fireworks at the end were brilliant. Really good day out and a great way to spend a day with the family!!!!
