We had a lovely stay at the cottage lovely area cosy cottage lots of space for families. Close to St Ives and a great location to visit all the sites of Cornwall
Just home from a fantastic stay at Water's View Cottage.
Welcoming, quirky, great location! Welcome tray was a lovely touch, plenty of towels for five guests and all linens were bright white and very clean. Decent size kitchen and nice (small) outdoor space if you're lucky enough to get the weather for it.
Enough to do locally to fill a few days of exploring. We found Hayle beach a peaceful alternative to St Ives and Carbis Bay. Good pubs close by and a few decent restaurants for evening meals out. We enjoyed the pub almost next door to the cottage and also the 'Bucket of Blood' pub which is on route to the beach.
The cottage is very 'cute', not best suited to anybody over 6ft tall! Although, we thought this added to the character of the property and really embraced the twists and turns of the cottage. The only downside to the cottage is that it is situated on a busy road. We couldn't sleep with the window open as we were kept awake by the traffic. However, we did feel that this was reflected in the price of the cottage when you compare other local rentals during the summer months.
Overall a fantastic stay and a lovely place to call home for your time in Cornwall.
Only a long weekend spent in the cottage but found it to be lovely and clean, beds very comfy and the welcome pack was a nice surprise
Good flat screen tv with dvd player and games machine along with board games were available for those rainy days which thankfully we didn't have.
Would of loved to try out the wood burner but never really cold enough.
In short its a lovely cottage in a good location couldn't fault
