“Simply fantastic!”

Stayed for a week in an A4* chalet with my partner and one teenage daughter. Location of the site is perfect. Easy to find and close to everything but far enough away from the likes of St Ives town which is absolutely heaving! The site is beautifully clean and with direct access to the most amazing beach I have found in the UK!

Our accommodation was very clean and of a very high standard. Kitchen is well equipped. The washing lines attached to the back of the chalet are a great idea. Very quiet all day long.

Every member of staff we met were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food in the Bay Bistro is very good and always quick to arrive...I can highly recommend the breakfasts :0) Thursday night is Hog roast night...definitely not to be missed! We used the catering van by the shop once and again it was good value for money. The shop is well stocked and I thought very reasonable. If you want other shops there are many close by as well as a Costa coffee and McDonalds.

The beach is beautiful and so large you never struggle to find your own space. The climb back up is a killer but very worth it!

The adults only bar is a great idea for those of us wishing to escape the ankle biters!

Swimming pool was clean, warm and never to busy during our stay.

Highly recommend the onsite Surf school. Very professional and friendly as were the people running the scuba diving experience in the pool.

Can't comment on the evening entertainment as we didn't use it but it seemed very popular.

This site was perfect for us and we intend to return as soon as possible. Thank you St Ives Bay Holiday Park for a truly perfect holiday :0)

P.S. If you love a good curry then the Angarrick Inn is a must!

We stayed here for a week from 28th Aug in a caravan WED _WED and was all you could ask for from a holiday park at a fab price . Everything you need available on site and locally :) Good entertainment on the evening , Good play areas for kids , Best of all is being so close to the amazing beach however it does have a steep walk back but worth it . All ammenities well staffed and a safe environment for young children. This was our first visit and we will be returning next year

We camped with electric in august, and couldn't be happier. Great service in the well stocked shop, both bars and restaurant, staff all polite but not intrusive. 5 min walk at worst from a fabulous, huge beach. Best family holiday location in the UK for me. See it to believe it, this place really is that good

Just returned from a weeks holiday at St Ives Bay Holiday Park and note (rebooked for next year). BUT noted a couple of things during our stay: the mattress in our chalet looked like it had seen better days and I wish I had brought a mattress protector with me (i will next time). The duvet we had, HAD seen better days and was soiled. The reception did give me another one, but it was so thin we ended up buying our own (so next visit it will bring mattress protector and own duvet/pillow). Moans now over site is superb for everthing you need!! an amazing site so close to the most beautiful beach which is worth the walk (various entries onto the beach) in fact I was glad of a bit of rain which helped walking on the sand to the beach. Once on the beach it clears the mind. The view from the Sands Bar is beautiful and we captured the sunset over St Ives. The Dynamite Bar is OK. singles worth the walk to the Sands Bar. All in all a lovely holiday and the criticism is positive as we will come back. We cannot wait to bring our grand kids down here. Thanks.

Really liked staying here. The park was quiet considering it was very full, although at times I could hear people in the other caravans but I think that it is the nature of the beast really. The caravans are clean and well spaced. We had a few maintenance issues and they were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. We had a TV which had Freeview but the signal was occasionally poor which we put down to bad weather. Cooking facilities are good (no non-stick frying pan), fridge/freezer and plenty of cupboard space, no microwave. The shower was great pressure and temperature.
The park has some very friendly and helpful staff. There is a swimming pool and a reasonable sized restaurant/café. The Café also offers free Wi-Fi. There are 2 bars one on each side of the site. The one near the swimming pool is adults only. Although we didn't use the swimming pool on this holiday we took a look at it and it appeared a decent sized and well used by others. There is a walkway down to the beautiful beach which is not far but that depends on where you are on the site. The site is well spread out in different parts of the sand dunes.
I would recommend this site to anyone as they are accommodating to anyone (as long as you don't have a dog - sorry pooches)

Room Tip: look at the map of the site and decide what you would like from your pitch/caravan/ place of sleep

Very impressed with this holiday park. We booked a chalet C4 and wasn't expecting too much. It was basic but adequate for a family holiday and very clean upon arrival. The pool is ok and we dined at the Bay Bistro quite a few times so the food must have drawn us back! In rain the park has drainage issues on the main roads so bring your wellies. The beach is great but access is a problem if you have mobility issues, or small children with pushchairs. Dragging the buggy back up those steps nearly gave me a cardiac arrest and I am quite the fitness fanatic! My children would have liked to use the club a bit more. However, I found the clubhouse very hot, especially the children's room, since there is poor ventiliation and no windows. The entertainment for them does not start until 7.30pm so it prevented my bleary eyed 2 and 5 year old children from fully enjoying what is available. If it started a bit earlier then we would have stayed longer and put more money over the bar. The park is ideally located for Cornish attractions such as St Ives, Penzance and Truro. There is an ok-ish bus service just outside the park, plus LIdl down the road for shopping. All in all, a great holiday and we will be back!

Room Tip: Book accommodation away from the Dynamite Clubhouse if you like to go to sleep before 11pm! The nois...

We have just returned from our 3rd camping holiday here & it's safe to say we will be returning again & again & again....
We book a non-requestable electric hookup & have never had a problem finding a good pitch, all the pitches are flat & a really good size, the showers are always hot & very clean.
We use the pool daily & along with the changing room is extremely clean.
The Bistro is the best, the brekkie's are fab & at around £25 for a family of 5 to eat & drink, the prices are great! It's always fresh, hot food. The views are amazing & the staff are friendly :)
