Our 2nd visit to this lovely camp. Paid extra for decking this time as we were very jealous last time around. Even though the weather was changeable it was worth it , the view was fabulous.
The day before we travelled we had had a family crisis and we were unsure whether we would be able to go. The customer service was fantastic and offered to change the week, luckily we managed to get there but the kindness of the team on the day my daughter phoned on my behalf ,will not be forgotten and proved to me what i already thought after our first holiday, this independent camp is brilliant a chain would not provide that level of care. Drinks and food were competitively priced , love Sands bar as it is over 18 , so relaxing. . Good staff there too. Friendly staff in shop also Thankyou for the chance to relax after what had been an especially worrying time. Will definitely return in the future.

Hi, my wife and i have just returned (today) from another great holiday at st.ives bay hol park. We have missed just one year in the past twelve and have already pre-booked for next year. We have stayed in various accommodation over the years on the park from the new houses to chalets of various sizes and also caravans of varying sizes too. We feel the park offers something for everyone, from the older patrons down to toddlers( we are taking our 4 yr old granddaughter next year). As others have said, the beach and the views are second to none, and most of the accommodation should be suitable for most tastes. The views of the sunset(when it decides to join us!) are superb, so much so that it prompted me to propose to my wife again on wednesday night, and we are now planning a church blessing and renewal of vows(30 happy years so far, and after some recent health issues i realised just how lucky i am and decided to get all soppy and romantic!). So, thanks St.ives bay, not just a great holiday site, but, great staffing, superb location, and once again, many happy memories for us to look back on. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic holiday in st. Ives. We had a chalet no 136 fairly close to the shop/ night time entertainment. I would have preferred a sea view but didn't matter. The 3 bed chalet was a good size but was very tired, needed decorating although the bathroom was fairly new. Bedding was from the 70s and had been washed a million times. It was clean when we arrived, but could have done with cleaning mid week, or leave us a Hoover as carpets filthy after having been on the beech and out in bad weather during the week. Swimming pool was great particularly as we had quite a bit of bad weather, food on site average but not a problem as loads of places to eat nearby ( in car). Night time entertainers were surprisingly good, tank sharman comedian was hilarious. We went running along the headland which was amazing. 2 kids parks were good. Overall I would recommend it as good value

On St Ives Bay, one of the finest beaches in Europe. We had a cheap week in an A2 chalet, as far from the beach as you can get on the site but that didnt matter at all. The chalet was perfectly adequate for our needs. Sands Bar at the beach end has superb views. Its a large , well run site that was surprisingly quiet and its dog free! Highly recommended for a short break in this lovely part England.

Room Tip: Be warned that the cheaper plots are over half a mile from the beach and although its an easy walk i...

We stayed here with our touring caravan and two of our grandchildren age 7 and 5 and had a lovely time. The site is very large but beautifully maintained by very helpful and efficient staff. The toilet blocks were always clean with plenty of hot water, there is also an excellent laundrette on site plus a very well stocked shop. Our pitch was very large and although we did not have a sea view we did not mind. There were lots of touring pitches which had lovely views but were much smaller and more open, something to consider as when the wind blows it blows!! There is a really good indoor swimming pool on site plus a snack bar where you can get all the usual holiday food, we used it a couple of times and it was OK. There is an entertainment complex which has childrens' entertainment on every night which the grandchildren loved and so did the grandparents some of the time! It has direct access on to the beach which sweeps round from Gwithian to St Ives and is absolutely stunning.
We were joined for the second week by our daughter and son in law who hired a static caravan for the week which had lovely views and was very clean and tidy and excellent value. Te caravans are very well sited to maximise the view and there is a decent amount of space between them.
Well worth a visit as the area is stunning, lots to see and do. We have booked on again for next year it was so good.

We stayed in a Raven Caravan for a week 1st June. We had a superb sea view that was amazing with lovely sunsets each night. Caravan was spacious. We had issues with the cleanliness of the caravan though, namely the cutlery, mirrors and shower. First trip we took was to the local Lidl for cleaning products. We did draw the line at cleaning the dirty (hairy shower) and pleased to say after a visit to reception we nipped out for an hour and the shower had been cleaned (as it should have been). We had a visit of someone from the park to ask if everything else was alright, and it was.
The park itself is very large, but still peaceful. Location wise it was perfect for visiting towns around the vicinity. We never tried any of the facilities other than the pool each day, this was clean and tidy and worth a visit.
The beach is a must visit, very high sand dunes to access, with steps to on side but lots of fun.
Overall would i recommend the park, yes. Would i return yes.

Room Tip: Raven caravans occupy great views of the sea.

We stayed in sept 2012 in a raven caravan. The caravan was a new model was clean and spacious and positioned so we had a amazing sea view. The site was very very clean and very peaceful, and quiet. we also had plenty of space between each caravan. Entertainment was quiet as it was sept but just the way we like it and it is not a lively park. pool was very clean and life guards were constantly supervising. beach was amazing stretched for miles very clean not stoney at all. The area of this park is perfect as it is in the heart of everything shops, attractions, towns, mcdonalds right nearby! and it has a lidl 2 mins down the road.over all we really enjoyed our stay and will be returning again this year.!
