“Perfect B and B experience”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

Thank you so much to Sue and Derek for a wonderful stay last weekend!
As others have said, beautiful interior, modern fittings in the stylish bedroom and en suite, fresh cake daily (good lemon cake in particular!) and a perfect location, accessible to all the local attractions as well as the coast path! I cannot fault the B and B, no wonder it's top of trip advisor!

We had a three-night break recently at Treloar House and everything was of the highest specification - even Storm the labradoodle! Everything you could possibly need was to hand in the room, with fresh cake daily to keep your strength up. There was even a silent fridge in the room, which housed fresh milk for tea and coffee - luxury indeed. Landlady Sue was one of the nicest B&B landladies I've ever met and was more than helpful when my husband was taken ill at one point during our stay. I can't praise Treloar House enough, and it quite simply is the first place we'd stay at on a return visit to Cornwall.

Room Tip: All rooms good

Having booked direct via their website which makes it look quite modest, we were amazed at the wonderfully spacious room (Trencrom) which comes complete with top quality furnishings and furniture and a shower room to rival the best boutique hotels. Sue pays attention to every detail from homemade cakes everyday to immaculate cleanliness via a wonderful silent fridge with fresh milk and water everyday. We liked having 2 chairs in the bedroom so we didnt have to sit on the bed. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in.Sue and Derek are genuine local people who have a fount of information on places to visit and to eat in. Breakfast was excellent using local ingredients.
This is the kind of review I hate writing as we would love to keep this stunning find all to ourselves

Everything was superb! The room was the best I have ever stayed in - quality mattress, luxurious bathroom, and everything one could need was provided. Best nights sleep I have ever had away from home. Very peaceful setting.

Sue and Derek are lovely hosts and good people! I can't say enough about this accommodation! The cooked breakfast and fresh fruit were amazing, plus daily freshly cooked scrumilicious cakes for when we returned each afternoon/evening. Highly recommend for anyone considering staying there!

We recently stayed for 3 nights at this friendly B&B. Our hosts Sue and Derek were very accommodating and helpful with suggestions for day trips, places to see and what to avoid. Treloar House is conveniently located to many local attractions including St Erth station from where you catch the train which follows the picturesque coast all the way to St Ives, a must do.
You will never leave here feeling hungry, Sue provides a wonderful breakfast using locally sourced ingredients, and after a days walking coming back to a special treat, freshly baked by Sue, and a hot chocolate was just perfect. For a lunch or evening meal the Lamb and Flag, a short stroll away, served excellent food and ale.
Our ensuite room, Trencom, was quiet and comfortable with top quality linens and a comfy bed, all very clean.
We really enjoyed our stay with Sue and Derek

My two night stay was very enjoyable. Sue is a lovely hostess who takes great pride in providing first class accommodation. My room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary cakes were delicious and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommendable.

Room Tip: Ask Sue about her two rooms.

Sue and Derek made us extremely welcome on our recent 3 night stay with them at Treloar House. from the initial welcome to the daily suprise bake plus excellent advice and options for walks and sight seeing in the West Country.

The room was just perfect, top quality comparable, if not better than some of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in.

The full English breakfast set us up for most of the day.

We felt our hosts went above and beyond, and are confident you will not be disappointed in your stay.

We have already recommended to friends and are certain we will stay at Treloar again early in 2014.

Huge thanks to Sue and Derek
