It's our local cafe so we do frequent quite often! Unfortunately we lost our dog recently so don't have quite such a lot of excuses to go so much anymore:(
This place does amazing cafe food. A special board that is very special! Local fish, great meat, amazing veggie option, gorgeous salads as well as the usual wraps and sandwiches. Even these are not ordinary they use such fresh and tasty ingredients. No cheap sliced bread or dreadful condiment sachets to be seen in this place, this is my pet hate and usually a bad sign of things to come. These guys know good food and know how to do it. Don't expect instant food as its cooked/ prepared freshly for you so can be a bit slower. It is no secret how good this place is so there is often a queue at busy times winter or summer but worth the wait!

This place is a little gem. We went for breakfast, setting out early to make sure we were there for 10am. The menu for breakfast isn't extensive but there are things to suit everyone's taste. My son's waffles and fruit were glorious, my daughters scrambled eggs were so good she talked about them for the rest of the day! The traditional breakfast is substantial And scummy, and if you fancy pushing the boat out I'd recommend 'The Works' hot chocolate, a meal in itself. Some comments have said the service is slow, not that we noticed and we already had our drinks so we weren't sitting at an empty table, with stunning scenery and good company, who cares! Just enjoy, if you are on holiday there's no rush.

This cafe is outstanding all day long, enormous well cooked breakfasts, great coffee, lush cakes, delicious specials at lunch ( had a divine crab sandwich this time with toasted GF bread which was such a treat, breakfast yesterday which set us up for the day too!) staff are so welcoming & happy despite queues out of the door. Once served food does arrive promptly & is worth queuing for. See you next year :)

One of my favourite places for a nice lunch. Fantastic food, the salads and wraps are fresh, tasty and very generous and excellent value for money. The place is very rustic, which suits its amazing beach location. They also do an amazing hot chocolate, loaded with marshmallows, cream etc. A challenge in itself!

We were on the lookout to find somewhere to eat near Hayle as we going to the beach. We had seen the GBC in a book about Cornwall. We were not disappointed. The sandwiches were to die for and the chutney was awesome. The cafe has theme nights every thursday, so we we decided to book for the Spanish night as we were so impressed. The staff were really nice and we can't wait to come back!
