“A little piece of Cornish heaven”
Reviewed June 29, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Wonderful cottage in a perfect location - enjoyed the little walks to beach and shop - perfect cosy accommodation with splendid views - lovely bedding - all cottage clean and comfortable. Lots to see and do within half hours drive - Eden, Fowey and Meva., Charlestown - never mind the beach and cliff walking. Would love a return visit. Car Parking is not an issue - lots of narrow streets need to be kept traffic free - so embracing the community car park for the week works - it’s just a little walk.

Thank you for your kind review and that you enjoyed both the cottage and village. We try to make it a "home from home" and as you rightly say the area is "A little piece of Cornish Heaven" and hope to hear from you again.

“Lovely cottage in beautiful position.”
Reviewed May 22, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Everything about the cottage was perfect from the position overlooking the harbour and beach to the pretty bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. The only reason I haven't given the full quota of stars is that although the cottage welcomes dogs I didn't realise that neither the front or back garden are fenced and secure meaning that we had to be super vigilant about keeping doors shut. Also parking is a real problem as we could only unload in the carpark at the back but could not leave the car there or in the road behind as one or two residents pointed out to us. In the end we had to park in the Llawnroc Hotel at the end of the back road and hope they didn't object.
Everything else about the cottage and location was perfect and we had a lovely time.

“A home from home!”
Reviewed March 18, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We decided to have a week away in Cornwall and we’re not disappointed with our choice of cottage. Beautifully equipped, warm, clean, cosy with fantastic views over the sea and harbour. We slept so well in a very comfortable bed and were ready to explore the area. Our hosts welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine and a basket full of logs. We went to Mevagissey, St Ives and Marizion and loved them all. Loved the wild seas and the village shop served lovely coffee and scones. The only slight drawback was carrying all our luggage up and down steps to the cottage but we were able to park close by and it’s a small price to pay for such a lovely week. Thank you Carolyn! We loved your cottage!

“Super little cottage in picturesque Cornish village”
Reviewed October 31, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Cottage is in a well situated location close to beaches and village amenities. Well equipped village shop, excellent fish and chip shop, wonderful coastal walks.
The cottage itself has been thoughtfully decorated and is extremely comfortable.
We have returned to it on several occasions and can't fault it.
In the area there is plenty to see and do for all ages.
Mevagissy is close by and offers some good watering holes and restaurants.
There is information in the cottage of many places of interest.

“Lovely cosy cottage with wonderful sea views”
Reviewed October 30, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

What a perfect location for a family break in October half term! We loved the sea views, the easy walk down to the beaches, the wonderful village post office - so helpful, and with a much bigger range than you might expect from a post office (including pasties and take away hot drinks!), and the access straight onto the coastal path for stunning walks. The cottage itself had everything that we needed for a comfortable week, and was very cosy, warm, clean and well equipped. The only little down-side (hence 4 stars and not 5) was the lack of private parking - which I know the owners have tried to address. We ended up parking at the local hotel - which was fine - but involved a walk to and from the property, which could I guess be a problem for some.
