Recently spent a three night stay at The Mead.
Having found the B & B on the internet was not sure what we would find when we arrived. Their web site is very accurate BUT can honestly say on arrival found the house and facitilities beyond our expectations.
We were greeted by Maureen who showed us the bedrooms (being 4 of us we had both rooms) and then produced a Great cornish Cream Tea with home made scones.
They are knowledgeable about the local area and have various brochures etc in the dining room (which is for guests use).
The rooms are furnished to the highest standards and the beds extremely comfortable. The en-suites are in keeping with the rest and appreciate the sky light i.e. natural light flooding in.
The breakfast was very good a choice of juices, furit, cereals and various hot choices, coffee, different Teas and toast, a good start for a long day of touring.
It is a 10 minute stroll down to the sea, probably a bit longer coming back as it is up hill.
After touring around Cornwall, it was great to return to The Mead to relax.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B.More
