“How do you improve on perfect”

This is the most stunning holiday rental we have ever been to. Everything to make your stay there is perfect, from the beautiful appointed modern kitchen to the luxurious bathroom. The bedrooms were lovely with very comfortable beds central heating if needed and loads of hot water. Traveling with two grandsons aged 3 years and 4 months meant lots of washing and to find a very efficient washing machine and dryer and a big bonus a dishwasher. The garden was a delight for our eldest grandson as he loves snail hunting and with a garden on different levels with lots of interest was his idea of heaven. The patio is a suntrap.. In fact you could spend the whole week at the cottage without going anywhere and feel you have had a wonderful holiday.

“Lovely cottage!”

We stayed in the Waylands cottage for a week in July and had a great time! The size and facilities of the cottage meant that there was plenty of room for our party (of 7 adults) and it was great to sit in the fantastic garden when it was sunny (and the conservatory for the rest of the time that it was raining!)

The location is great and makes other parts of Cornwall easily accesible, but the beautiful beach at Crantock is also just a short walk away! The hosts/owners were really welcoming, flexible & friendly and contributed to the great week we had at the cottage. Would certainly recommend.

“Beautiful cottage”

Just returned from an amazing stay at Waylands. There was 4 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space. This cottage is great for kids having a large living room/dining room and also a conservatory. The garden is lovely and the decked area with bbq is a gorgeous sun trap. We walked to the 2 local pubs most nights and also Crantoxk beach is lovely.
All in all, the pictures online don't do this cottage justice and I would definitely recommend.
Also, it is well placed for exploring all of Cornwall.

“Beautifual, spacious but cosy cottage in Crantock”

We stayed here in May half term with four adults and three children (9, 8 and 3 years). There was more than enough room in a spacious, well appointed and very homely cottage. Ideally positioned just 2 mins drive or a very easy 10-15 min walk (downhill admittedly) to Crantock beach. Village shop, two pubs and a good park all a stones throw away so couldn't ask for more. The cottage itself had everything we needed ... lovely kitchen with all appliances you could need, lounge with log burner, nice conservatory and a very quirky garden with bbq, a brilliant decked suntrap and lots of places/levels to explore. Both the adults and our kids loved it ... hide and seek went well, wine in front of the fire later a delight! All in all a great base to explore this area of Cornwall ... we spent lovely days in St.Ives and Padstow when we weren't enjoying the beach at Crantock. Waylands was a great find for us ... would highly recommend.

“Wonderful Quaint Cottage”
Reviewed January 6, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We came to Crantock to celebrate Christmas with our family and had a very big surprise when we arrived the cottage was decorated for Christmas, which made us feel straight at home. We travelled with three adult children and they all loved having their own bedrooms. The cottage is spacious, clean and is very well equipped. It has a lovely back yard to be enjoyed by summer guests. I would definitely recommend the location which is close to the beach and pubs. I would recommend this cottage as an A+

“Awesome Cottage!”
Reviewed September 17, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We have just spent 2 wonderful weeks at Waylands. As previous reviewers have said there is no real need to leave the village but that was not for us. We used the cottage as a base and were out to different parts of Cornwall every day. What made the holiday perfect was coming home to Waylands each afternoon / evening and feeling right at home.

The cottage has everything a family needs is very well maintained, very clean, very large, very well equipped kitchen, and the garden has to be seen to be believed. The owners together with the lady who looks after the cottage were always available if needed and more than willing to provide help and assistance.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful location.
