My husband and I took our two boys (5yrs and 2yrs) here last Friday for lunch. We were very dubious after the reviews I read but have to say it was a pleasant surprise. We booked our table for 12pm and when we arrived we were greeted with a friendly face and a smile. None of the food was yet out so we ordered drinks, it's £3 for an unlimited top-up on coke, lemonade, fizzy orange etc the waitress kindly offered to charge for just one unlimited drink for the boys to share which was split into two half pint glasses which was great. The food came out quite quickly and there was a fair amount of choice. There weren't any king prawn or duck dishes but we only paid £6.99 per adult and £3.99 per child but still had plenty of choice with chicken, beef and pork dishes. The dessert choice was a bit more limited with a selection of three cakes, jelly, banana fritters and a choice of vanilla, strawberry or chocolate ice cream but the boys were more than happy. It was their first experience of a Chinese meal which they enjoyed. There is a £3 charge for food wastage which we weren't charged as my youngest only left a few noodles. Also if a child is over 140cm tall they will be charged as an adult. All-in-all if you are looking for a good value Chinese then this is the place. Even if you have one dish it's worth the money. We will be going to eat there again in the future.
