We enjoyed our Good Friday curry at the Bengal on the last night of our short break away. The staff were friendly and the service swift considering how busy they were with takeaway. There were was plenty of seating, for up to about 50, functional rather than cosy. The food was tasty. The veggie vindaloo was well spiced although it looked like frozen mixed veg was used. My family enjoyed their chicken pasanda and tikka masala and the sag paneer and Bombay aloo sides were good. We brought our own wine, just 50p/head charge and the meal was about £40 for 3 including tip. Based on our experience we can recommend the Bengal Balti.
