This is a lovely old farmhouse in a beautiful country setting, with attractive rooms, and friendly, attentive service.
The pros are many. The rooms are comfortable, convenient, and very pretty. Only one room has a bathtub, and that is separate from the room. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious - all local produce and meats. Brenda is a gracious hostess, full of life, smiles, and pleasant conversation. And the farm setting is very relaxing and beautiful. You can play fetch with the dogs in the yard while having tea or a glass of wine, feed the horses, or walk across the field to the iron age fort.
The only drawback is that it is not on the coast, but it is only a 15-20 minute drive to Looe, and 20-30 min from Polpero, Eden Project, Lanhydrock.

Cadson Manor was a truly relaxing experience, from the time we arrived to the time we left. Brenda was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. The Primrose room was spacious, well equipped and of a very high standard.

The country side was well worth exploring and the views from the house breathtaking. The breakfasts were outstanding. The only disappointment was having to leave!!

Excellent well run B+B. Brenda was really friendly and breakfast were excellent. I would go back just to see Jewson the parrot - he is adorable, with his impersonation of the dog and cat and the immortal "John, you bugger!"

This was a bit of a surprise really; booked it blindly and it turned out to be a real gem. The house is clean and welcoming - you will have house envy when you visit! The location and views are stunning, apparently there is a lake on the property too for fishing if you fancy. Brenda is the landlady and she's a real gem - very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area & what's worth seeing. Made us feel like we were at home and her breakfast offerings were amazing (seriously, try the Full English Breakfast at least once during your stay). It's worth noting that this beautiful building is part of a working farm; but it's very peaceful. Partner and I are both in our early 30's and think this accommodation would appeal to many age groups.

As a side note: as the top reviewer mentioned there is a lovely dog, cat and parrot as part of the Cadson Manor family. We'd never stayed in a B&B before and my partner was a bit concerned that his severe cat allergies would keep him from sleeping well...I don't think that the animals are allowed in the rooms and as such it really wasn't any problem at all in the end.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the Cadson Manor.

I had an amazing stay here. The welcome was faultless and Brenda is always looking to go the extra mile when you have had a long journey.
The rooms were spotless and the breakfast top notch.
Location was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful.
If you do not like animals then I would think twice as thhe parrot, dog and cat are very much part of the family.
