This was a bit of a surprise really; booked it blindly and it turned out to be a real gem. The house is clean and welcoming - you will have house envy when you visit! The location and views are stunning, apparently there is a lake on the property too for fishing if you fancy. Brenda is the landlady and she's a real gem - very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area & what's worth seeing. Made us feel like we were at home and her breakfast offerings were amazing (seriously, try the Full English Breakfast at least once during your stay). It's worth noting that this beautiful building is part of a working farm; but it's very peaceful. Partner and I are both in our early 30's and think this accommodation would appeal to many age groups.
As a side note: as the top reviewer mentioned there is a lovely dog, cat and parrot as part of the Cadson Manor family. We'd never stayed in a B&B before and my partner was a bit concerned that his severe cat allergies would keep him from sleeping well...I don't think that the animals are allowed in the rooms and as such it really wasn't any problem at all in the end.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the Cadson Manor.More
