Great central base for many places of interest, walks, and getting to the coast. The site is in a valley, so be prepared for steep inclines. We didn't use the restaurant, but we did swim, and the swimming pool was surprisingly big, clean and warm. The outside pool looked inviting - a lot smaller, but fun if the weather was warm enough. The lodge was very well presented, beautifully maintained, sparklingly clean and comfortable. A book containing thorough and well set out information about the house and services (electricity, heating etc.) A credit to the owner and to the housekeeper. We had a great four night stay and would recommend this lodge to friends.
We spent a full on family week at Honeycombe Lodge. It was just lovely. The lodge was clean and homely and well equipped in a lovely part of the holiday park. The facilities were enjoyed by us all and are a few minutes walk from the lodge. It was a great base for our days out and there was plenty to keep the kids amused on the one rainy day we had. Lots of helpful info in the lodge about places to visit. Too much choice but not enough days so we will definitely be back! Thank you from the Grant clan x
We had a lovely long weekend, the cottage was very clean and well equipped with thought! A real home from home, with the balcony and the stream running past.
Well located for day trips, lovely local food pubs that are dog friendly. We will definitely be booking again.
We stayed in Brook View which is absolutely perfect. Very cosy and warm. Was recently refurbished and had everything shiny new!!!! The upside down lodge is fab with views of nature from every window. Only used the on site gym. Again, it was adequately equipped. A really good base to set off in various directions of Cornwall.
Excellent family holiday, the Lodge was very well equipped with every thing that you could possible need.
Christmas Dinner in the Bar was one of the best that I have tasted. Weather was very wet but had everything to dry the dogs off.
Many thanks Martin.
What an amazing holiday home. The owners have taken so much time and thought to make this a real home from home. There really isn't anything they haven't thought of and provided to give you a great base to stay. Aldine to a fantastical high standard.
By far the best looking lodge on the estate with beautiful balconies to both floors even includes a barbecue.
We were welcomed with a cream tea coffee tea and milk- how lovely after a long journey.
The owners are so lovely to deal with.
For a relaxing break this is a great place. It is quite remote but some lovely places around to visit including the Ginsters pasty factory which has a factory shop!!
We stayed here for a long weekend 12th to 15th May 2017 for my birthday.
The lodge was excellent, well equipped and furnished and in a nice quiet rural setting. Just what we expected.
Went hiking in Dartmoor which is not far away.
Nice pubs in the villages around.
