Took a while to find it but glad we did! Just a shame we found it the day before we left for home. A lovely little pub in the higher end of a beautiful village. Compared to other places to eat this is by far the best value for money in what is an expensive part of England for dining out. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and homely. The food is fabulous! Homemade and portions that leave you very satisfied, in fact we were sadly unable to have dessert from the extensive 'homemade' menu, as we would have been uncomfortably full, which was a real shame as they looked delicious. Cask ale as well for the proper beer lovers out there! They have regular weekend entertainment, dogs are welcome in the bar (theres a couple of dining tables in there) and in the garden. Parking is at a premium so you may need to walk and booking is recommended as it soon fills up!
