Just back from another short break in Boscastle. We had several meals at The Napoleon, both at lunchtime and in the evenings and the food is fantastic and great value for money. There is an extensive variery of daily specials including local fish and seafood. I've eaten in several St Austell Brewery pubs and this one is by far the best, the food is of restaurant quality and is hard to beat.

We popped in for lunch mid way through a circular walk. Had soup and roll for £2, yes £2, which was superb homemade asparagus - yum. The beer is drawn from the keg at the back of the bar and is up to the highest standards for real ale, no wonder they are in the good beer guide.
Will definitely be back here next time on holiday. Highly recommended.

The Napoleon is the only place that we eat when we stay in Boscastle (at The Old Coach House). The food is great and we had a table beside the fire which added to the festive atmosphere. I was very impressed with the choice of food and the number of specials available given that this was the winter period. The roast dinner is still the best thati've eaten in a pub/restaurant. Once you've eaten at The Napoleon, you don't want to eat anywhere else in Boscastle.

We have stayed in Boscastle regularly at the Old coach House close by, and eat every evening at the "Nap". The food is excellent and well-priced, the staff are friendly and very helpful, the regulars are always good company - what more could you ask?The pub is ancient and in character - especially nice in the off-season when it is generally quieter, with roaring open fires. Even in winter it is wise to book a table.

Myself and my partner have visited the Napolean on many occasions whilst staying in Boscastle and we found that several meals that we tried have been really lovely, tasty and good value for money. We also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this lovely pub to anyone and hope that they continue to do well in the future.
